The moonlight filtered through the dense canopy as Naruto moved silently through the forest, his cloak brushing against the undergrowth. Each step was deliberate, each breath calculated. The shadows clung to him like old friends, and yet his mind was anything but still.

"The Hidden Forest Village is too small to be a threat," he murmured to himself, eyes narrowing as he leapt onto a tree branch. "But their position... it's close enough to the Land of Hot Water. If I can sway them first, the rest becomes easier."
He crouched low, scanning the path ahead. The wind carried the faint scent of rain, and the forest whispered its usual secrets. Somewhere nearby, an owl hooted.

"If the Hot Water Daimyō won't listen, maybe their shinobi leader will," he thought. "They're neutral now, but with the right push-economic aid, protection from bandit raids, a promise to respect their autonomy..."

A fox darted across the path below. Naruto paused, watching it vanish into the trees."Tch... it's always the same game. Power, protection, persuasion," he muttered, then gave a faint chuckle. "Maybe I'm turning into a politician after all."

He dropped down silently, landing in a crouch. In the distance, dim lanterns marked the edge of the Hidden Forest Village, a remote settlement known more for its herbal exports than its shinobi strength. But Naruto saw value in what others dismissed.
"First, Hidden Forest. Then the Hot Water leader. If I can build a trade route through both, I can establish a neutral corridor-one Konoha can't touch."

A branch cracked behind him. In a flash, his kunai was drawn-but it was just a raccoon. He lowered the weapon and sighed.
"Calm down. Paranoia won't win you allies," he whispered.
Still, as he walked, his thoughts turned sharper.

"Danzo's watching. Natsu's waiting to see me fail. I don't have the luxury of hesitation.",He stopped beneath a large tree, resting his back against it as the moon peeked through a break in the leaves. His breath fogged in the cold night air.

"Tomorrow... I'll approach the village leader personally. Not as a shinobi. Not as the 'Cursed Child.' Just... as Naruto Uzumaki. Let's see if that still means anything to anyone.",And with that, he closed his eyes-just for a moment-letting the silence of the forest wrap around him like armor before the storm.

The forest was quiet-too quiet. The year was 1200 AD, and the world felt like it was holding its breath, waiting for the next storm. Naruto walked a narrow path beneath the thick trees, the moonlight barely reaching through the leaves. He moved with purpose, yet his mind wandered.

"Why am I talking to myself again?" he muttered under his breath, annoyed at the echo of his own voice in his head. "Tch... am I finally gone crazy?","No," a calm voice answered from behind.
Naruto froze.

"That would be too easy," the same voice said again, smooth and composed, but tinged with subtle steel.

He turned swiftly, hand brushing the hilt of his blade. Three figures stood in the clearing behind him, illuminated by the silver moonlight-each one carrying an air of quiet power.
The first, with her long black hair and calm, unreadable eyes, stood with her arms crossed over a dark blue cloak. Her presence was sharp, dignified. Naruto's eyes narrowed.
