Somewhere deep in the middle of paradise—blue waves crashing against pearly white shores, palm trees swaying lazily in the breeze, and overpriced fruit drinks topped with tiny umbrellas—Minhwan and Sohye's honeymoon officially began.

And it was... exactly what you'd expect from them.

"This bed is like five Sohyes wide," Minhwan commented, flopping back dramatically on the king-sized mattress. "I could do a full cartwheel and still have space."

"You won't," Sohye said, already unpacking her luggage like a responsible adult while he was lying there being... a husband. "You'll knock something over and break your neck. On the first day."

"Would you cry?"

"I'd film it first, then cry."

Minhwan rolled over to stare at her, chin on his arm. "You're so mean when you're in love with me."

Sohye raised an eyebrow. "Who said I'm in love with you?"

Silence.

Their eyes locked for a second—his narrowed playfully, hers challenging—but the tension? Thick as hell.

Then she turned away with a smug smile, and Minhwan instantly launched off the bed, grabbed her from behind, and spun her around like a madman.

"YAH! MINHWAN!" she squealed between laughs.

"I'm your husband, and you'll ADMIT you love me or I'll tickle you to death!"

"YOU WOULDN'T DARE—"
"Try me, wife!"

And just like that, the honeymoon suite filled with giggles, breathless shrieks, and the sound of two idiots absolutely obsessed with each other.

Later that night, after dinner by the beach, two bottles of wine, and a very dramatic couple's massage (Minhwan screamed when the lady cracked his back), they finally collapsed on the balcony couch.

The moon hung low, painting silver over the ocean. Sohye's legs were draped over Minhwan's lap, her hair loose and wavy from the sea air. He looked down at her like she was some sort of magic.

"Hey..." he murmured.

"Hm?"

"I thought I was lucky to just survive high school. Never imagined I'd end up like this."

She blinked slowly, relaxing into the cushions. "Like what?"

"Married to the most badass, reckless, stubborn girl I've ever met. Who also somehow turned out to be the only one who makes me feel like I'm worth a damn."

Sohye stared at him, no words—just that look. That look she only gave him when her walls were down, when her heart was wide open.

Then she whispered, "I love you too, by the way."

He grinned like a fool. "Took you long enough."

And then came the soft kisses. The laughter between them. The warmth of shared blankets and stupid jokes and feet tangled under moonlight.

Because this wasn't a fairytale ending.

This was better.

This was them.

Kyoto, Japan — land of temples, cherry blossoms, quiet streets, and historical beauty.

And right in the middle of it, holding hands tightly like they were lost kids in a fairytale...

Were Hanwool and Rin.

Rin wore a soft, flowy yukata in pale pink with delicate sakura prints. Her hair was tied into a loose bun with small flower pins. She looked like she belonged in an old painting—pure, gentle, soft like cotton candy.

Hanwool looked like a damn bodyguard next to her.

Black dress shirt rolled to his elbows, veins popping, cold resting face turned slightly confused every time someone complimented her in Japanese. And despite his usual threatening presence, the man was now carrying Rin's tiny pastel handbag over one shoulder like it was his entire duty in life.

And oh—he was so down bad.

"Hanwool, look!" Rin tugged at his sleeve, eyes sparkling as she pointed at a stall selling dango.

He blinked. "That's the fifth dango stall today."

"But this one has sakura flavor!"

Hanwool sighed dramatically, but handed over yen anyway. "You're going to turn into a rice ball at this point."

Rin just smiled and kissed his cheek, making him freeze like a broken AI.

"You okay?" she giggled.

He turned away, ears red. "...Don't do that in public."

"Why not?" She tilted her head. "You're my husband now."

He nearly dropped the dango.

Later that day, they explored the famous Arashiyama bamboo forest. Rin twirled between the tall green stalks, taking pictures, laughing softly.

Hanwool stood still for a second, just watching her. His ever-present scowl softened slightly.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Rin asked as she walked back to him, taking his hand.

"...I never thought I'd be this happy," he said quietly. "Not with anyone. But especially not someone like you."

"Someone like me?"

"Kind. Soft. Light."

She smiled, squeezing his hand tighter. "Well, someone like you deserves all of that. Even if you act like a grumpy cat half the time."

Hanwool chuckled, genuinely. Rare. Pure. Real.

They stayed out till the sky turned lavender and the streetlights blinked on. Dinner was a quiet affair in a tiny ramen shop tucked between the alleys.

But even as they sat side-by-side at the bar, chopsticks in hand, Rin suddenly said:

"You're not allowed to fight anyone on this trip, okay?"

Hanwool raised an eyebrow. "I won't. Unless someone flirts with you."

Rin pouted. "Hanwool—"

"One guy looks too long? I'm turning into a sword."

Rin laughed, eyes crinkling as she leaned into his shoulder. "You're unbelievable."

He mumbled into his ramen, "And you're mine."
