23. Slept in

"Mrs Harper, can we eat breakfast here please?" Lila was the one who asked and I couldn't help her cuteness.

"Of course you guys can" She grabs a plate for both of them. "Here, you guys help yourself with anything you want" She hands the plates to them and they get excited.

"Thank you Mrs. Harper" Hunter walks to the table and starts to help him and help his sister too.

"Thank you for the offer, I wasn't expecting to be able do that for them since I was just so worried for y/n after what happened last night"

"Yea Dawn told us what happened when y/n came over and explained the situation"

"Oh at exactly what time she did she came here because we fell asleep on the couch after a whole night of movies and hot cocoa"

"She came at like around 1 in the morning" Nora seems surprised about the time she came here.

"Oh my, is she ok right now?" Nora looks a bit worried again.

"Yea she's ok, she's just sleeping in my room" Then she was relieved again.

"Oh thank god, I know last night was a bad night for her and I know that she didn't feel safe in there so I'm really glad she found a good friend like you" She smile at me and I smile back at him.

"Have you heard anything from her mom" My mom whispered it to Nora.

"Unfortunately no, I try texting and calling her but I get no response from her. I mean I have never been here before like it's my first being here to visit the kids" Nora was getting more worried that I can tell she seems to about to cry.

"I think she's visiting Calvin" Everyone stop their tracks and look over to Hunter.

"W-what did you say Hunter" Nora goes up to him and gets on his level.

"I said I think she's visiting Calvin" Hunter faces to Nora before continuing. "She seem to be good friends with him since he works in the same job with her"

"So you think she's with him right now?" Nora seem to be glad that y/n mom is safe.

"Yea she's seem to really happy with him when they hang out and I think they would flirt each other" Nora chuckled and smiled.

"That's good that your mom is safe, now finish your breakfast" She gets up while Hunter turns back to the table and finish his breakfast.

"That's good, at least she's safe but I'm guessing you don't have Calvin number"

"No I don't but I might have an idea on how to find it. Is it ok if I leave the kids here for a bit?"

"Yea of course, do what you need to do and we'll watch them"

"Ok thank you so much," She faces to Lila and Hunter. "Ok guys I'm going to leave you here for a bit ok, I'll be right back" They both nodded and finish up their breakfast. "Thank you so much for watching them, I'll be back in a few" She leaves the kitchen and the house as the boys walks into the kitchen.

"Who was that?" Ricky was confused at first but saw Lila and Hunter. "Oh hey guys"

"Hi Ricky" Lila gets up and hugs him and Ricky hugs her back. "That lady was our mom friend Nora, she said she'll be back in a few" She goes to sit back down on the chair.
