Ex-lovers. Office rivals. A love that never truly ended.
Jisoo's fresh start turns into a nightmare when she realizes her new boss is Tae-her cold, ruthless ex. Their office becomes a battlefield of stolen glances, sharp words, and unresolved emotio...
Her eyes widened. "That song... I used to love it."
He smiled softly. “Of course. I remember everything about you.”
Silence. Then a soft laugh from her. "You’re still the same."
He looked at her. “And you’re still terrible at hiding your emotions.”
They sat quietly for a moment.
“I missed this,” she said.
He didn’t reply—just looked at her with that warm gaze.
A message popped on his phone.
Jungkook: You coming tomorrow morning, right?
Taehyung: Change of plans. Taking Jisoo with me.
Jungkook: Hehe... enjoy.

He smiled.
As they walked to the basement to get his car, a shadow lingered behind a pillar. Someone was watching. Someone who hadn’t planned for her to escape.
As they got into the car and drove away, a voice echoed in the garage.

“F*ck. She left!”
The game had begun. But Jisoo had unknowingly taken shelter with the one man who would never let her be hurt again.
The road stretched endlessly under the darkening sky, the city lights flickering like stars in motion. In the second car, Lisa sat beside Jungkook. The silence between them was awkward, yet heavy with everything unsaid. Jungkook glanced sideways at her, his fingers drumming lightly on the steering wheel.
"You could at least say something, you know," he murmured, a teasing smile playing at his lips.
Lisa kept her eyes glued to the window. "You should focus on the road."
He chuckled. "I can do both. It's been a while, Lisa."
"I don’t think we need to talk about the past," she said coolly, her tone sharp as glass.
"Ouch," he whispered under his breath. "Still as cold as ever."
Then suddenly—THUMP!—the car jerked as it hit a speed breaker. Lisa's body jolted forward, and instinctively, Jungkook reached out, grabbing her shoulder gently to keep her steady.
She blinked, startled. Their faces were closer now than intended.
"You okay?" he asked softly, his voice stripped of all teasing.
Lisa swallowed and pulled herself back, her wall going up again. "Drive properly."
Jungkook just smiled faintly and looked ahead. "It's still cold… but I’ll take that as a yes."

Back in the office basement, the wind whistled as it wrapped around the corners of the silent building. A shadowy figure stood in the far end of the lot, phone pressed to his ear. His voice was deep and rough, edged with obsession.
Man: "She left the building."
Woman (voice over the phone, low and calm): "What should we do now? Plan A didn’t work."
Man: "I want her. I’ve waited long enough."
Woman: "You need to control yourself. We can’t have another mess like last time."
There was silence on the line, tense and chilling.
Man: "If Taehyung interferes again…"
Woman: "Then we use her against him."
The man’s hand curled tightly into a fist. "Understood."
A beat of silence passed before the woman spoke again, her voice almost a whisper now—soft, sinister, and chilling.
Woman: "Let’s begin Plan B."
A click. The call ended.
Elsewhere, the camera panned to a bright city intersection where Jisoo leaned against the railing of a bus stop, the wind catching her hair as she stared up at the moonlit sky. Her phone vibrated.
A message popped up.
> Unknown Number: Jisoo… I’ll meet you tomorrow.
