The morning sun bathed the village of Konoha in a warm golden glow, its rays filtering through the trees and casting long shadows across the training grounds. The air was crisp, carrying the faint scent of dew-kissed grass, as Rong Lin stepped into the clearing.

Aside from physical training to enhance his strength, Rong Lin also sought knowledge from books to fill the gaps in his understanding. Many things weren't covered in class, leaving him no choice but to take matters into his own hands.

Fortunately, with the tacit approval of Sensei Bonchino and the Third Hokage, gaining access to the academy's library had been relatively easy for Rong Lin. After signing in, he picked up several books that piqued his interest and began reading intently, completely absorbed in their contents. This drew curious glances from others who entered the library.

Typically, children around five or six years old would dread being asked to read extracurricular material-it was practically torture. Yet here was Rong Lin, an exception to the norm.

Unbothered by the stares, Rong Lin immersed himself fully in the world of books.

"Gurgle Gurgle~~~"

Time slipped away unnoticed, stretching from noon well into the evening. It wasn't until his stomach growled loudly in protest that Rong Lin realized he hadn't eaten lunch. His empty stomach now demanded attention.

Since the books couldn't be taken out of the library, Rong Lin reluctantly marked the pages he hadn't finished and left with a sense of regret.

After enjoying a hearty meal, he made his way to the training ground.

Whether it was taijutsu, shurikenjutsu, or kunai throwing, all these areas required improvement. Rong Lin displayed a level of determination uncommon for a child his age, quietly persevering in a corner of the training field.

"Two idiots!"

As the bruises on their faces faded, Asuma and Tarin returned to school. Feeling their hateful gazes boring into him, Rong Lin merely smiled faintly and muttered under his breath.

Kakashi's graduation application soon reached the Hokage Tower. However, processing such applications required time-approval and official stamps from the Third Hokage himself. Even though it took two months, Kakashi eventually graduated at the tender age of five, becoming the first student of his cohort to do so. Hailed as a prodigy, news of Kakashi's achievement spread throughout Konoha and even reached other hidden villages, drawing significant attention.

Much of this recognition stemmed from his father, Sakumo "White Fang" Hatake, one of Konoha's Shadow-level elites. Unfortunately, history loomed ominously over the horizon-Sakumo's tragic suicide was drawing near, and Kakashi would suffer greatly because of it.

While Kakashi earned fame as the new genius of Konoha, few noticed another name quietly rising in prominence: Uchiha Rong Lin. His grades ranked first across all subjects. Had Kakashi not graduated early, their achievements might have invited comparison. But due to Kakashi's brilliance overshadowing everything else, Rong Lin's accomplishments were subconsciously overlooked by most.
