The Broken Promise

"Theo, baby, I need you to stop crying" I ask, simply exhausted from having to stay up most the night because Theo won't stop crying.

"Shhh sweetheart, I'm right here" I say, in an attempt to comfort his raspy cries.

Poor kiddo has been screaming his lungs out for majority of the night, me and Nathan have resorted to taking shifts to try and get him to sleep.

"Hey" I hear Nathan say, drawing my attention to the door he is currently leaning on. Without a shirt. He's fucking shirtless and holy moly.

It is definitely getting hot in here.

"Hi" I say, attempting to give him a strong smile and not give away how tired I am since it's 3:00 am in the morning and I haven't slept in 24 hours.

"Still going at it buddy?" Nathan's asks, coming up to me to pick Theo up and placing him in his arms causing Theo's cries to turn into screaming his lungs out.

"Baby, you need to stop crying before you get sick" I say, putting him back into my arms and pressing his head onto my chest.

"Mi-lky" He hiccups, pressing his hand down onto my boob.

Looking up at Nathan, I see him realise what Theo is asking for.

"I would be honoured to be able to do that for Theo, but you need to give me the all clear" I rasp, rubbing Theo's back, nervous that Nathan doesn't see me in the way of nursing his kid.

"I would love if you could do that for him, but I don't want you feeling uncomfortable with any of this" he says, his attention firmly on where his son is slapping his hand on my boobs.

"I already love Theo like my own, I would love to do this for him" I say as I walk over to Theo's drawer and get out a nursing cover.

Situating myself on the rocking chair, I look at Nathan one more time for confirmation.

Giving me a supportive nod, he keeps his eyes on his son whose cries are quieting as he realises he is finally getting what he wants.

"I kind of have to take off my top and bra..." I tell Nathan, who quickly understands what I'm asking of him.

"Oh uh right" he says as he turns around to give me some privacy.

Unclamping my bra, I quickly discard of any clothing on my chest and begin to situate Theo's mouth onto my nipple, quickly attempting to cover myself up with the nursing cover.

"You can turn around now" I tell Nathan as Theo latches onto me, causing a small gasp to escape my mouth in surprise at the new unfamiliar feeling.

I thought I might have been one of those women to experience pain, but it feels normal, almost natural.

Looking down at Theo, I see him looking up at me with adoration and his left hand placed on my other boob.

"Hi my baby boy" I say, smiling down at him, causing Theo to hum happily.

"Do you need anything? Are you okay?" Nathan asks drawing my attention from a very hungry Theo.

"It feels great, almost natural" I say, as Nathan seems to be extremely fascinated with me nursing his son.

"Would you, umm, like to come see?" I ask Nathan, turning my attention back down to a calmer looking Theo.
