"have you ever thought abt what will happen when we're finished with college ?" i asked as we walked hand in hand along the beach.

"not really, i mean ik we're gonna be separated but our love strong enough to get through anything" she said.

"why does it bother you ?" she asked.

"kind of.. im clingy and we've been together since we were 5 years old. even when we weren't speaking we was still right up the road from each other"

"and now that we're romantically involved, i've gotten 10x more attached to you. and just thinking about it we really finna be juniors so we ain't even got that much time left" i said.

"jay.. we'll be fine boo. we're not even finished with sophomore year yet. and yk how i feel about you so the distance doesn't matter and it's not gonna change that" juju said.

"i love how you don't worry abt stuff like this. i mean one of us gotta relax and yk it ain't me. it's my job to freak out" i said making her giggle.

"exactly, and cus ik you not going nowhere and neither am i. and ik you worry a lot now since you're healing but i promise it's us forever baby" she said.

"you remember that time in 9th grade, our basketball coach made us run because our teammates got pregnant so me and you ditched and then ending up making out under the bleachers" i said making her gaps and laugh.

"omg i remember that, and he called our moms and they said that we shouldn't have to run cus she got knocked up" ju said.

"no fr tho cus he really thought we was finna run for that ?? and the others girls were way better than cus you couldn't pay me enough to run for that bs"

"like h** is you coo. but im glad she got pregnant cus then i got to makeout with my best friend" i said making her giggle and nod.

"we was wild asf. you turned me into a menace jay" she said making me laugh.

"i love reminiscing on all the crazy ish we done did" i said.

"yeah like that time you wrecked your car and we couldn't find you i should still slap you cus what made you think you could drive with a concussion ?" ju asked.

"hey in my defense when i first started driving i could see fine and i felt fine" i defended.

"can't wait to be able to tell our future children how we met.. the fact that we've been apart of each others life since we were 5" i said.

"jay.. what's with you and kids ??" she asked making me shrug.

"i see my future with you.. i wanna marry you and have kids with you is that a problem ??" i asked making her laugh confusedly.

"lol, no i was just curious why the sudden change in attitude ?" she asked.

"ion have a attitude i was just curious" i said as i stared at the pretty sunset.

"omg it's so pretty" ju said and i nodded.

"did i offend you or something cus now the vibe feel off" she asked looking at me.

"no, im just chillin. and doing a lot of thinking about life and stuff" i said lightly.

"well, i see my future with you to bae and yes i wanna marry you and have kids with you" she said interlocking our fingers.

i smiled and nodded exhaling. life been kicking my ahh since i graduated high school and im not even talm bout the real world wise i mean mentally and stuff.

"idk, then she kind of got upset with me she kept saying she was fine but like i could tell the vibes was off" i explained.

"well maybe it's because she see her future with you and you asking her that probably made her think you weren't seeing the same thing" dom said.

"but she know it's her and only her. but i guess that's reasonable. lemme text her" i said picking up my phone.

after changing out of my practice jersey, i put it in the washer and headed to target and i grabbed her some flowers and then went home and showered.

when i finished showering, i got dressed putting on deodorant, perfume, and lotion. afterwards i grabbed my phone and keys and her flowers and headed to her apartment.

i knocked on the door and a few seconds later it swung open.

"hey come in" she said and i thanked her walking inside.

"so, i wanted to talk to you about the beach" i said sitting down.

"okay is something wrong ?" she asked.

"no, but i wanted to make it clear to you that i want what you want and that's to marry you and have a family with you."

"ik me asking you what's with you and children may have given you the wrong impression and that was i wasn't seeing what you were or we don't have the same goals"

"me asking you that was not a serious question lol" i said.

"ngl it did give me that impression but when you told me you wanted that too i wasn't worried about it. we're 4life and we talked about this so many times" she said and i stood up and nodded.

"it's me and you forever and when i say forever i mean forever" i said handing her flowers.

"ofc, it'll always be you ma" jay said wrapping her arms around my waist pecking my lips.

"thank you for the flowers, i love them so much" she said.

"anything for you baby" i said as i looked at my phone screen.

"so have you been hanging out with niah and kiki cus ion see you with them much anymore" i said.

"yeah, i usually do it when you're in nil meetings and stuff tho" she said and i nodded.

we walked to the kitchen to get a bowl of ice cram cus i swear i have a ice cream craving at least 3x a month as if it's healthy lol.
