The soft morning light peeked through the hospital curtains as Nabi packed the last few items into the overnight bag. Across the room, DK was folding up the baby's blanket with careful precision, his energy buzzing with excitement. Today was the day they were finally bringing baby Seojin home.

Nabi sat on the edge of the bed, cradling her son in her arms as he latched gently for his morning feed. She was still getting used to the new rhythm of motherhood—this quiet, beautiful, sacred bond—but she looked so calm, so naturally maternal. DK paused mid-movement and just stared.

She looked radiant.

Even in the oversized hospital sweatshirt, with her hair loosely tied back and no makeup on, she looked more beautiful than ever to him. There was a gentle strength in her now that moved him to the core. Two days ago, she had brought their son into the world, and now she was here, nursing him with such grace and tenderness, as if she'd done this all her life.

"You're staring," Nabi said, her voice soft, her eyes still on Seojin.

"Can't help it," DK replied, his voice even softer. "You're incredible."

She glanced up, their eyes locking in a quiet moment that needed no words.

After Seojin finished feeding and was swaddled again in his soft blanket, Nabi handed him over to DK, who gently placed him into his little car seat. DK had told her the boys hadn't come to the hospital simply to give them space and privacy, and she'd appreciated that thoughtfulness.

What he didn't tell her was that something else was waiting for them at home.

The hospital's back entrance was quiet when they stepped out. Seventeen's manager was already waiting with the car. DK helped Nabi into the seat, then carefully secured Seojin's carrier in the back. With the hospital bags in her lap and the soft hum of the car engine lulling her into thought, Nabi realized: this was it. They were going home... as a family of three.

Her fingers brushed the handle of Seojin's car seat gently. It was surreal.

When they finally reached their apartment, DK got out first and unbuckled Seojin, lifting the car seat with the same mix of pride and protectiveness he'd had since the birth. Nabi followed close behind, carrying their bags, still thinking about the first quiet moment she'd have back at home, in their cozy space, just the three of them.

But the second DK unlocked the door and pushed it open, Nabi froze.

The living room exploded in soft pastels and warm light. Banners stretched across the walls—Welcome Baby Seojin!—with handwritten messages from each member. Flowers bloomed in vases along the counters and windowsills, and soft music played in the background. The air smelled of cake and something sweetly floral.

And then came the voices: "SURPRISE!!"

The boys were all there, beaming and cheering with wide grins and open arms. But when they saw Nabi's face crumble and tears begin to spill, they all froze.

"Oh no, she's crying—" Jeonghan whispered, nudging Joshua.

"Was it too much?" Hoshi asked, panicked. "Did we overdo it?"

But Nabi was already wiping her face, laughing and crying all at once. "No! No, it's perfect," she said through her tears. "It's so beautiful. I just... I didn't expect this. And the hormones—oh god, I'm such a mess—"

"You're not a mess," DK said, wrapping an arm around her. "You're just overwhelmed. And you deserve all of this."

She smiled through her tears and made her way around the room, hugging each member tightly. "Thank you," she whispered again and again. "Thank you so much."
