Location: ??? (I never played or heard of Oneshot)
A girl was standing in the middle of a room with a big light bulb in her hand.
???: So this is where the sun belongs. If I put it in here we'll be able to save the world right? But if I want to go home I'll have to- I'll have to break it. What should I do? What's the right thing to do?
Suddenly a black and red star portal appears and transports her in the middle of a street. She sees a black and red robot attacking someone. It then looks at her and charges at her. But then someone in a hooded cloak quickly took you into an empty restaurant. He then coughed and left to go fight.
???: what just happened?
Location: grey mountain area
Shovel Knight and Cuphead were standing in front of Madeline and Ghost they were both confused on why they wanted to protect the robot.
Shovel Knight: Step aside young lady! That evil machine is dangerous.
Cuphead: eh, ain't nothin' but a heap of scrap now so I am just gonna-
He starts charging up an attack but Madeline stops him.
Madeline: Hold on wait! Why are you trying to hurt this robot?
Shovel Knight: We crossed paths with similar machines whose intent was malicious.
Madeline: Well you certainly got the wrong one. It didn't attack us when we met, it only acted in self-defense, and now it's barely moving. So, I don't think it can even pose much of a threat at this point even if it wanted to.
Shovel Knight: So it DOES want to!
Madeline: No! That's not what I meant!
Shovel Knight: But how can we be certain? In our quest to return home, we can't risk a potential adversary lurking in our midst.
Cuphead: Shovel's got a point dollface, so beat it!
Madeline: Look please just trust me okay? I assume you're both not from here either, but this robot seems to know something, and it could be our only way back home.
Shovel knight: We mean no harm but we cannot take that risk. Step aside and we'll handle this.
Shovel Knight vanishes into thin air. madeline gets confused until she sees him about to attack the robot from above. Madeline reacts fast and grab the robot avoiding the attack. Shovel knight looks to madeline but gets hit by knight using his nail. he knocks him back to Cuphead who looks at them itching for a fight.
Cuphead Oh it's On!
Ghost signals madeline to run and protect the robot. madeline nod and dashes away. Shovel knight and cuphead then start to chase her. ghost prepares to fight them but they both run past him complete ignoring him.
