"Jensen trust me I know these two. All they have ever wanted was to care for a child, they'll love you unconditionally like you're their own child." Billie suggested.
"But I'm not their son Billie. I'm a complete stranger to those two." Jensen said, turning to face her.
"I know your scared Jensen, but you have nothing to be afraid of when it comes these two." Billie assured him. "I have to go talk them real quick before I leave, just make yourself at home and try to get to know the two of them before you judge them."
Without another ward Billie exited the room leaving him alone in an unfamiliar place. He fell back on his bed, part of him wished to sleep yet he grew to have insomnia from all the nightmares he started to have once awakening from his coma. Every type of department even journalist attempted to question him what happened the night his body was found, yet he couldn't remember a single thing before awakening from his coma. He felt terrible at the thought of being unable to remember his own family. Who did this to him? Who was his attempted killer? Who wanted him dead? Who killed all of his family? Who was the only question that lingered throughout his mind day and night. His nightmares had gotten terrible to the point he went days without having a good night's rest. He believed his night terrors made Billie want to remove him from her house. She grew tired of dealing with him.
He began to feel trapped in this room and quickly sat up, he knew he shouldn't do what he thought, but he had to know what Billie was telling them about him.
Jensen snuck quietly out of his room and down the first staircase but came to a quick halt halfway on the second, around the wall was where the kitchen was.
"Would you like some tea?" Annie asked, grabbing three glass cups covered with sunflowers down from the cabinets.
"Yes please." Billie sighed, already sitting at the table beside Jack. Annie carried the glasses and place each one day before taking a seat herself. "I feel before I leave you with Jensen you have to know what more he suffers from."
Jack and Annie exchanged a concern glance before turning their attention back to her. "Go ahead." Jack responded.
"Jensen is a unique boy who you all know survived a very violent attack." Billie began to explain. "Unfortunately, this has come with multiple outcomes and situations." She took a small sip of her tea before placing the cup gently back down. "Jensen suffers from night terrors about what happened that night, he became afraid to sleep so he suffers from insomnia. Jensen cannot remember his life before awakening from his coma, so I beg that you two do not ask questions about his past."
"We were not planning on asking questions about what happened," Annie assured her, "You know how much this means to us to have a son once again, we wouldn't ruin it."
"Since he's in your custody now I may not come by as much in order for him to be able to grow into this environment. He has become attached to me since I've been there when he awoke from his coma. But if you do have any questions about anything do not hesitate to call me." Billie said.
"What's the best thing we can do when he has a night terror?" Jack asked, concerned.
"You have to hold him down, when he awakes from the night terror, he believes he's in the situation of the attack again. It's best to hold him down and speak to him gently to calm him down."
"What if that doesn't work?" Annie asked.
"It always does," She stood from her chair, grabbing her briefcase and jacket before saying her goodbyes. The two walked her to the front door before closing it behind her.
