AS THE INTENSE battle between you and Gyutaro continued, Mk was struggling to dodge the belts coming from above. Both Mei and Redson were also doing their best to hold Daki back as much as they could and try to cut her head off.
You used all of your energy to fight back, attacking and blocking Gyutaro's strikes. However, Gyutaro made some blood slashes to come and slice you from the back, "There's no way out of this!" You thought, knowing that you couldn't avoid them because you were preoccupied with this demon. Before those blood slashes could hit you, Mk came and blocked them with his staff, "Heavy! These slashes are so heavy! Sidestep it! Ward off the blow!" Mk tightened his grip on the staff in order to protect you. His form changed into monkey momentarily and he managed to push away the blood slashes successfully. Now, you took this opportunity for a counterattack.
You held the chain of their twin swords and rotated the blades at high speed while charging forward. You also threw a lot of bombs to catch Gyutaro in the impact. As a result, you three were outside the building. Gyutaro charged at you and both of you continued to exchange clashes. The belts were coming your way again, but Mk in his normal form helped you out and blocked them. You glanced at Mk briefly, seeing how injured he was. He got an injury on his shoulder which made you worry, "He's not going to hold up much longer! It's a miracle that he can still move at all! That shoulder wound must be really deep! All because I got poisoned! I have to take care of this, or well be wiped out!" You gritted your teeth and continued to fight Gyutaro back.
Mk was suddenly pushed back by a belt, leaving you alone. While the battle continued, you could hear faint footsteps on the rooftop of one of the building. To your surprise, it was none other than Ne Zha who looked still tired. The Lotus Prince summoned a lot of Lotus petals, turning them into sharp arrows before sending them to Gyutaro.
The said demon was surprised by this sudden attack and didn't recognize what was coming to him, "Blood Demon Art: Rampant Arc Rampage!" Gyutaro used his powers and destroyed all of the sharp petals. You saw this as an opening and dashed toward Gyutaro, it was a good opportunity to decapitate him. Although some of the petals pierced several parts of your body, you still ignored the pain and resume the attack. Gyutaro was shocked that you were still moving despite the poison and the injuries.
Gyutaro swang his sickles at you, but you ducked down and sliced his legs. Gyutaro thought that he could regenerate them yet he wasn't able to due to the effects of a Lotus petal that stabbed his neck, "What the..."
Mk ran forward to help you out while you brought your sword to Gyutaro's neck, you were this close to end this fight. Ne Zha watched with anticipation as you were slowly inching toward victory. However, Gyutaro suddenly smirked and removed the petal from his neck. His legs quickly regenerated, "He regenerated his legs? Dammit! He's already neutralized the petals effects!" You cursed mentally as the shock took over you.
"Man, that sure packed a punch! These stupid things, I mean! Blood Demon Art... Rotating Circular Slashes.. Flying Blood Scythes!"
Gyutaro used his blood art, forming a circular slashes around his arms. You were beyond shocked that you stopped in place, "Slashing us without even swinging his arms? Over a wide range!" You noticed that Mk was about to get injured again, so you kicked him away, "Sound Breathing: Fourth Form: Constant Resounding Slashes!" You held your twin swords apart and spun them rapidly around you, enabling the blades to destroy any of the blood slashes that made contact with for powerful defensive capabilities around you.
When you finished performing your attack, you didn't see Gyutaro in your sight. He had completely disappeared from the area. You looked around you cautiously in case of him appearing out of nowhere, "Y/N, behind you!" Ne Zha warned you just as one of Daki's belts dashed at you. More came and you avoided them as best as you could. You looked up at Ne Zha with worry, "Ne Zha-..." You couldn't finish your sentence when the Lotus Prince threw yet another sharp petal at one of the belts.
"I'll draw the belts toward myself! Y/N, don't mind me! Go look for the dem-"
Before Ne Zha could continued, his mouth was covered by Gyutaro who suddenly appeared beside him, "Well, you have a lot of nerve. I'm sure going to mind you, you hear me?" You heard him say to Ne Zha with frustration.
"Ne Zha!"
You were about to go help him, but more belts came out of nowhere to prevent you from doing so, "Dammit! The Belts are blocking me! Ne Zha!" Your vision was blocked by those belts, not allowing you to see Ne Zha. You didn't want to give up, so you pushed all of the belts away, "Leave him alone!" You shouted desperately, knowing that if you did any move, Ne Zha might be done for. As you helplessly stood there, Mk suddenly appeared and hit Gyutaro with his staff, saving Ne Zha in process. However, you could see that his form was flickering a lot, making him unstable.
Gyutaro launched at Mk, "Either way, you're going down!" With that being said, the two engaged into a fight on the rooftop. Just as Gyutaro was about to attack Mk, you were right behind him, "Mk! You have my gratitude!" You exclaimed and aimed right at his neck. Mk saw this and used his staff to get Gyutaro in place, the demon was now being attacked from both sides. You didn't know how Redson and Mei were doing, but you hoped they were making a progress because you were about to win.
This was actually short lived when Gyutaro used his sickles to protect his neck. Not only this, but he also connected your weapons to his sickles and started to laugh, "The likes of you, cut off my head? Never going to happen!" He stated with an evil smirk, knowing that your weapons were stuck. You frowned and used your other sword to attack, but to your surprise Gyutaro turned his head backwards and held it with his mouth.
"Don't swing your head all the way behind you! Damn you!" You could see flashes of blood on his shoulders, he was going to do that rotating attack again. You quickly glanced at Mk, "Mk! Hang on!" When you instructed him, Ne Zha help Mk to stand still just as those circular slashes formed.
You braced yourself and then threw yourself along with Gyutaro away to keep the boy safe. As a result, you separated away from Gyutaro when you hit the ground. You quickly stood up, breathing heavily, "Dammit! I have no more energy... No, I got to fight. I need to hold him back for a little bit." You thought while struggling with the poison.
You heard Gyutaro's laughter ringing in your ears, "You can't fight anymore. It's your end." He taunted you, seeing the miserable state you were in. You didn't want his speech to affect you, so you took a fighting stance. Gyutaro laughed again in amusement, "You're a fool." And just like that, you two began yet another fight. However, you were so weak this time, only blocking and barely dodging. Just then, you remembered something.
There was only one way to help you win, but it will take a little bit of time. This was the only option left if you wanted to decapitate them. You had sacrificed a lot, so you had to use it.
Just as you were about to block an upcoming attack, Gyutaro fooled you and sliced your hand. You didn't even get a chance to wince because he kicked you. You dropped down on the ground, losing consciousness... but not fully.
"I'm sorry, kids. Your on your own for now." That was the last thing you thought of before everything went black.
