𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐀 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐍𝐊 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄, Cassandra took note of the blankets covering a body, she believed it to be Nick so she didn't think twice about it. She sat down on the chairs beside the table looking up at Madison a question on the tip of her tongue "Where's Alicia?" Madison shrugged but then they heard a voice coming from the blankets, and it wasn't Nick's
"Oh she's probably off with my brother? Or that blonde girl you'll met" Troy, Cassandra was starting to recognise his voice, her eyes flickered to Madison watching as her hand moved behind her, Cassandra bit her lip realising she must have a weapon. She turned around in the chair hearing the rustling of the blankets, as Troy turned over and revealed himself "I liked your speech, I liked how you said his name, Travis, it makes him matter, makes him real"
"He was real" Madison replied instantly,
Cassandra chewed on her lip, Troy was a skilled fighter. He was also very charismatic, he had people's attention and he was highly observant like Cassandra. He realised what Madison was doing just like she did. She knew he was a dangerous enemy but he could be a valuable asset. But to turn him into an asset, she needed to know why he was the way he was, why he went off at the slightest inconvenience.
Why it seemed he was the outcast among outcasts.
With the small interactions she has had with the youngest Otto she was certain it was something to do with his family.
"That's not why you said it, though." Troy pushed the covers off of himself standing up and instantly Cassandra rose to her feet as well moving closer to Madison knowing Troy was unstable, she leant against the table her fingers tapping on the surface as she stared up at Troy who noticed her little movement protecting Madison "it wasn't out of grief. It was pointed you wanted to remind us that you're a victim, too."
"You feel like a victim?" Madison took a step forward, Cassandra watched with interest, she wouldn't consider herself a victim yet others would like the brothers who kidnapped her. The man she killed.
Troy grinned dropping his head "are you analyzing me now?"
"No." Madison denied but Cassandra knew she was, because it was the same thing she had been doing since she met him.
"What did you do in the old world?" His eyes darted to Cassandra reambering the way she spoke, the way she held herself, how willing she was to give him a second chance like she was designed not to judge like Jake. "And what about you darlin, because I don't think your an ordinary teenage?"
