Once in a Lifetime {BxB English}

Hey guys! Sorry I didn’t upload this morning, I was very busy with work. It’s just before 8 p.m. here, and I wanted to let you know that if I ever miss posting early in the day, I’ll always make sure to upload at night. I never forget, promise! Their eyes stayed locked. A smile lingered on Ody's lips, while Mano's eyes had narrowed dangerously.

"Your ice cream's gonna melt" Ody said with a sly smile, and Mano looked down at the cone that was already dripping onto his fingers.

He stuck out his tongue and licked the ice cream from the middle to the top, while Ody watched him closely.

Leaning in to whisper near his ear, Ody murmured, "When are you gonna lick me like that?"

Mano almost choked on his own saliva and started coughing loudly.

Ody laughed, and Mano turned to glare at him with a stern look as he coughed.

"What? I've been waiting forever. And clearly, you've got the technique" Ody added, eyes dropping to Mano's full lips.

Mano shoved his ice cream into Ody's hand and stood up.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Ody laughed, watching Mano walk off.

Holding both ice creams, Ody quickly stood and hurried after him.

"Mano... Come on, take your ice cream. I won't say anything else, I promise" he said, stretching out his hand, and Mano shot him a murderous glare.

He grabbed his ice cream and kept walking at a brisk pace.

They arrived at the café Ody had mentioned and sat across from each other.

"Ody? No way!" a female voice called out, and they saw a waitress smiling in surprise.

"Eva! Look at you!" Ody grinned.

"God, how long has it been? Athens really swept you away" she said, still surprised. Mano remained silent.

"Come on, I visit! How is it around here? Same as always? What about Taso?"

"He's here, let me go grab him!" She headed inside, and Ody looked at Mano.

"Old friends"

"No way, man!" they suddenly heard a guy's voice as a young man approached. "You finally showed up? Remembered we exist?"

"College obligations, Taso" Ody said as he stood up.

"Yeah, right. Whole of June you had college obligations, huh?"

"Well... we also went to Serifos for vacation"

"Oh, cool!"

"This is Mano. Friend from Athens" Ody introduced, and the two of them exchanged a glance.

"Hey, Mano. First time in Patra?"

"Yeah"

"Alright, what should I bring you guys? Hold on," he paused, thinking. "Two sugars cold espresso" he said, pointing at Ody, who winked back with a grin.

"And for you, Mano?"

"The same"

"Comin' right up!" he said and disappeared inside, leaving them alone again.

Mano noticed the wide smile still on Ody's face.

"They're really good people. If you get to know them, you'll like them"
