Notes: Hello!! Sorry, this is late. It was going to be out like two weeks ago, but I wrote the chapter and absolutely hated it, so I redid it.
I also want to warn you that this story may not align with your personal world experiences so I do apologise, but this chapter contains the description of the death of a family member of "y/n". It's not graphic, we don't relive it, but it's there and I wanted to place a warning here.
Also we get to see more of our past life and how the two align
Enjoy!!

Your pacing is growing annoying, Knockout can barely hold his tongue. Your little shoes were making consistent thunking noises as you walk, which was threatening to drive him mad. He can no longer take it. "What are you pacing for!?" Knockout finally yells, running a hand down his face.
You don't stop, not even sparing him a glance. Megatron was missing. You feel it in your soul. No one else seemed to care, but for the past few weeks since your original spat, Megatron had brought you three square meals daily. And he always stayed with you, sharing idle chatter.
It was something you had grown to look forward to and appreciate, your crush on him only festering more and more. The feelings swelling in your chest only made every interaction more and more frustrating.
But how exactly does one confess to a giant alien robot that is so much older than oneself? Because you are pretty sure that the usual means of confessing aren't going to cut it. But that is a river you will drown in at a later date.
"Where is he?" You mumbled, placing one arm around your middle and the other cradling your chin. Megatron didn't tend to grace you with everything he had planned, you assumed that was the Decepticon in him.
Knockouts face scrunched up, annoyance and confusion written across his flat features plain as day. "What are you talking about?" His voice was exasperated, and he placed a hand on his hip.
You groan at his inability to use context clues. "Megatron is missing for Primus' sake!" You yell in frustration, fingers pressed into your scalp. Knockout rolled his eyes, huffing as he looked at you doubtfully.
"Lord Megatron is not missing you pesky human. He has simply taken Starscream to some energon mine." Knockout rolled his shoulders, his head falling back slightly as he tried to figure out how his life had come to this.
"But shouldn't they be back by now?" The worry was sinking its thorns into you, growing like vines as it wound its way through your rib cage, pulling you down and rooting you into the ground. "Megatron does as he pleases, human," Knockout bit.
You glared up at him, your teeth clenching in annoyance. You don't enjoy everyone brushing off your worries. You listen to your gut, and it says that something is amiss. It's saved you on multiple occasions, so why would it be wrong now?
You continue pacing, which causes Knockout to groan as he elects to leave the room. He can't handle any more of the weirdness that goes with whatever possesses Megatron to keep you aboard.
You don't hear him leave, already back to trying to figure out what exactly you are and can do in this situation. You don't know where Soundwave, you have appropriately named him 'creepy visor', is, and even if you did, you were sure he wouldn't have any interest in your concerns. If Megatron disappears, your entire stay here is in jeopardy, your life. Megatron was one of the only insurances you had, and while it may be selfish to only think of your own life at the moment, survival is the most important thing to a human.
And yes, not having to pay for things was nice, your every bare need met. But there were parts of you that longed to return back to the rest of the world. The simple things you missed, but there was an undeniable part of you that didn't want to leave Megatron. A part of your soul resided here with him, even if you didn't understand it yet.
