Flying above the ocean, multiple CHU-55 Strongarm helicopters make their way towards the infamous IS Academy, each carrying a singular mech. The leading unit carried a BJ model Armored Core, while the rest carried Ogre Mk3s.

The AC, piloted by one of Raptor Machina's mercenaries, carried a MG-014 LUDLOW, a HI-32 BU-TT/A, a BML-G1/P01VTC-04 on the right back hardpoint and a SI-27: SU-R8 on the left. The Ogres mounted each a standard rifle plus an optional flight pack for reaching the island. The pilot inside the AC then received a call from the helicopter carrying him and his machine.
CHU-55 Pilot: "Hood, we are close to the deployment zone. Get yourself ready, will you?"
Hood: "On it."
The pilot, callsign Hood, grabbed onto the joysticks after hearing his fellow pilot. His AC's visor lighted up, glowing a bright red as they got nearer to the academy. In front of Hood was a beautiful island where multiple futuristic structures stood. That was the academy they are targeting, home to all Infinite Stratos candidates. Disgusted by their use in sports instead of actual warfare, Raptor Machina set out to not just take over the island, but steal the Infinite Stratos and their related technology for their own benefit.

Hood: "It's time then. Moving out!"
The cables holding the large machine were released at once, letting fall to the ocean. The boosters turned on before it landed, allowing the AC to hover over the water as it sped towards the academy. The Ogre Mk3s were jettisoned as well, activating their backpacks to fly past Hood's mech at alarmingly high-speeds, already landing when he was halfway there. Upon arrival, alarms began to blade at the sight of the intruders, and also serving as their indicator to start the operation to clear the way for the rest of their forces.
The backpacks, now used up, detached from the Ogre units and leaving them useless. With their rifles in tow, the smaller mechs began running up to the academy, their feet making heavy, mechanical sounds each step they took.

Breaking through the academy, they encountered unprepared students, all equipped with the Uchigane I.S, a mass-production model for training. Using the Katanas installed on the suits, the girls tried to defend their academy and colleagues from the towering war machines, only to be splashed into red mist from three well-placed shots, the first two draining the energy shields. Those who didn't try to fight back tried leaving and calling out to their teachers, only for Hood and his AC to barge in, destroying a piece of the building as his AC slid on the ground. Reviving up his machine gun, the mercenary began firing at everything around him, clearing a secure path for the upcoming squadrons.
Meanwhile, for Chifuyu Orimura, she considered this day as the the worst in her life. Unknown aggressors broke into the academy, and began firing at the students. They killed students. Most countries in the world agreed to the treaty, so she came to the conclusion they were terrorists. Running through the hallways, she was wearing her black bodysuit with four katanas on tow.

Her first encounter was with one of the Ogre Mk3s. As she dodged and took cover from the bullets, she was perplexed at such technology. Perhaps it was some sort of prototype, or a new machine made to rival I.S users? It wasn't the time to speculate right now, lives were at stake. Gritting her teeth, Chifuyu rushed over to the mech, managing to avoid its assault rifle before delivering a kick to its cockpit. With her superhuman strength, she tore the hatch off and stabbed the pilot with one of the Katanas, feeling the machine fall down to the concrete floor. Hearing the sound of missiles nearby, Chifuyu jumped out of a window to land inside the stadium, encountering the BJ Armored Core.
At the sight of the "ultimate human", it turned around to face her.
Hood: "It's you. First Mondo Grosso champion, and now a teacher at this godforsaken academy. Came here to fight?"
Chifuyu: (gritting her teeth) "Damn terrorists!"
Hood: "Oh, so no introduction then? Straight to the point? Interesting."
Her reaction gained a chuckle from Hood, as his AC's thrusters roared to life. Making the first moved, Chifuyu charged forward, followed by the towering mech boosting towards her.
