It's Friday, June 28th, 2002, people hurriedly packed up for the closure of Gardenview Education Center.

They all need to be done by tomorrow, which saddened the beloved mascots who sneak a peek out of curiosity.

Everything is being packed, but why?

"Didn't we just polish everything squeaky clean a few days ago?" a curious flower wondered, being one of several mascots that were spying on the staff.

"Yeah, that is strange... why is everything going into boxes now?" the crescent moon muses, towering over the flower and equally confused about the situation.

"Is everyone going on a trip? Will we finally get to go outside the Center?" asks an excited plush toy, his naive smile shining brightly.

"Even if we were, why do they look sad about it? And why would they be packing shelves for a trip?" questions the television, who then glitched and accidentally emitted a loud static sound.

"Who's there?" a man asks, suddenly turning to face the spot where the four mascots are hiding in fear.

They weren't supposed to be out of their rooms, but curiosity has gotten the best of them, and now they risk being caught!

"Vee!- Screw this, run!" the flower whispers urgently before darting back to the elevator, with the others following closely behind, all equally frightened of getting caught.

Once inside, with help from the crescent moon, he presses a button, which makes the elevator descend to the floor where most of their rooms are, along with some other mascot's rooms.

"So, what did you all manage to find out?" asked the magnifying glass, who sat on the couch reading a newspaper he had found.

"I think we're going on a trip," the plush toy beamed before Vee covered his mouth.

"Goob, it's not a trip," she stated, her tone serious.

"We found them packing up everything," the flower announced, his petals drooping slightly.

The group was confused about why their handlers had left and why the staff had been acting strangely.

"All of you, come here. I might've just found the reason why... I will share this with everyone else in the morning," the magnifying glass gestured for the group to come closer to read the paper.

They all were shocked, but he remained stoic, having processed the news long before they arrived.

The flower's petals grew dull, drooping even more, and the moon feared what might happen to his friends, especially the flower.

The plush's smile vanished, and Vee began to glitch even more.

No one was calm.

"What's going to happen to us now, Rodger? Are we all going to be forgotten... like the holiday toons?" the flower asked as the possibility dawned on him.

"I don't know, Dandy. We shall try our best to handle this, though," Rodger replied, the moon nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, it'll be hard, but we should try..." the moon added.
