together they spend spring/summer doing everything they're not supposed to do, meaning: drugs, drinking, smoking, breaking & entering etc. but, the reason they are doing all that is a promise they made.
do everything imaginable before Maeves passing, as she only has a few months left to live, no matter how stupid it might be.
what Maeve doesn't know: Frank is madly in love with her and is willing the eventually even join her in death.
