Rex and the Domino twins took a trip to Mortis with the generals, and everyone came back different. Not that any of them can complain about having somehow absorbed the Ones' powers, but not everyone is so accepting of their abilities or what it comes with. Especially not with the Sith trying to dispose of them.

Author's Note: I have no idea what I did for the plot. Don't worry about it I guess :( xD It's a bit wild. I totally trashed the timeline. I really hate everything about this but the ending scene. ;-;

"All in all, I think that went amazing," Fives crows. Echo tries to ignore his brother's levity, but he can't help the mood rubbing off on him a little. Not that he's telling Fives that he wholly approved of their rampage on Zygerria. He knows them going as far s to kill General Krell for his attempted betrayal on the planet might have been a bit too far, but after seeing and sensing what he did there, it's a little hard to care.

"It could have gone worse," the general amends with a small smile, "We did well. On the mission. But just wait until we hear what the Council has to say."

"Why is it that when you say the Council, the fun gets taken out of everything?" Fives complains.

Echo shoots him a look, even if he can't disagree. The Jedi Council wasn't exactly the happies about three clones gaining Force-abilities, and neither were they happy with General Kenobi getting linked to the Dark Side. Echo can understand the deal a little more now that he has it. It's... strong, overwhelming, and damaging.

Personally, he doesn't like Fives has a connection to the Son, either.

But they've delt with crazier things. Or so Echo tries telling himself.

Their moment is cut short when General Kenobi gets a comm from the Jedi Council, and off they go, begrudgingly leaving the festivities and heading for the Temple.

It's strange to even be here, Echo decides firmly, to be walking freely through the Jedi Temple and just... everything about this. They don't look happy, and more than that, Echo can sense their displeasure. He tries not to feel, but it's still overwhelming. He wishes he could stop... feeling everything.

"You were only to locate the togruta colonists," master Windu states flatly.

"We did," Fives starts, but the look General Skywalker gives him cuts him short.

"I apologize for how far it went," General Kenobi replies, "It was not our intention. When the Zygerrians attacked us, our powers reacted more than we did."

"Dangerous, these powers can be," Master Yoda replies.

"If not for the war, we'd have you sent to a place where you could learn to control then," Master Windu asserts, "But for now, we will send you to Ringo Vinda. Take a small attack force. Your powers should be useful there. It is a Republic shipyard, and you will, under normal circumstances, be hard-pressed to keep it. But be sure there are no more mistakes such as this."

"He really thinks we can manage that?" Fives ask flippantly when they're excused from the Council chambers.

"I don't know, but I wouldn't push it," Anakin replies, "We gotta be careful at this.

"Either way, it sounds fun," Echo agrees.

Ahsoka laughs. "Yeah. Bring on the clankers."

She, anyway, has been doing a lot better since she got these powers.

Rex honestly doesn't know what happened. He just knows that they were fighting, cutting and blasting their way through droids as they fight their way across the Separatist's command ship when – abruptly – he feels something changing. It's a sort of pin prickle, nudging in the back of his mind, still something that confuses him. He's not used to this feeling. But when he looks up, it's to see Tup with his blaster raised at Ahsoka.
