A girl was leaning against Adheer's car, and Adheer was passionately kissing her, bent close to her. While kissing her, Adheer’s eyes suddenly shifted forward—right where Barkat was standing—and Barkat was looking at him with a slanted, sharp gaze.

Barkat stared at him for two or three seconds as he kissed the girl, but then quickly turned her eyes away. Still, Adheer's face and the way he was kissing that girl kept replaying in her mind like a scene stuck on loop.

Nandini, standing beside Barkat, followed her gaze and looked at Adheer too. The moment she saw him, her breath hitched—she began trembling with fear. She still hadn’t forgotten the incident where Adheer kissed Barkat and Barkat slapped him.

She immediately grabbed Barkat’s hand and, pulling her toward the road, said, “Chlo Yahan Se!! ”
Barkat said nothing and quietly walked with Nandini.

Meanwhile, Adheer left the girl behind and started walking toward Barkat. Before Barkat and Nandini could leave, Adheer stepped in front of them, blocking their way.

Barkat looked at Adheer furiously.
Adheer, with a sarcastic smile on his face, said, “College me to kaafi sati Savirti Type ban rahi thi I kissed you once and you caused a whole scene, and now here you are outside a club... So what have you come for? To dye your dupatta? To fix your sari blouse?

Hearing this, Barkat’s anger intensified.
The girl who had been with Adheer ran a hand through her hair and came to stand beside him, looking at Barkat as she said, “Why did you come here, Adheer? We were about to go into the club. Are these girls going to join us?”

As she said this, she cast a glance at Nandini too. Her expression made it very clear—she didn’t like either Barkat or Nandini one bit.

Adheer smiled and said, “Well, nothing’s been finalized yet... I mean, I can only invite them. If they want to join us, I’ve got no problem. In fact, I’m more interested in things that come with a bit of attitude.”
Saying this, he looked at Barkat’s face and then slowly let his gaze slide down from her face to her chest. Barkat’s eyes widened.

She was about to speak, but Nandini tightly squeezed her hand and said, “Barkat, let’s go from here.” She began pulling her away.

Just then, Adheer said, “This is unfair, Nandini. Even this morning, you took Barkat Mishra away from me, and now again, you’re dragging her away. I’m not that bad, am I? That you both are this scared of me?”

Barkat, who had already taken a step forward, stopped at his words. Turning back toward him, she said, “Who told you I’m afraid of you? You’re quick to assume things, Mr. Adheer Ranawat. I’m neither afraid of you nor do I find anything special in you worth staying for. And as for joining you—cheap things are for cheap people. People like us don’t do these kinds of things in the streets.”

As she said this, she threw a final glare at Divya, the girl standing next to Adheer.

Barkat’s words made Adheer even angrier.
Barkat grabbed Nandini’s hand tighter and walked away from there immediately.

Divya said angrily, “Who was that stupid girl who just insulted you like that? How dare she talk to you this way? And you let her go? You should’ve shown her who she’s messing with…”

Before she could finish, Adheer marched straight to his car, sat in the driver’s seat, and drove off quickly.

Barkat and Nandini had walked quite far by then and were now standing on the side of the road, waiting for an auto. Their eyes scanned around for one when suddenly, a huge splash of mud hit Barkat right in the face. She shut her eyes instantly and screamed loudly. The mud felt like a slap across her face.
