It had been few days since the wedding reveal.

days since one picture — a single, breathtaking frame of Riya in red beside Shubman in gold — sent the internet into freefall.

And yet, the world hadn't settled.

Paparazzi still hovered outside the apartment.
Hashtags still trended every morning.
Speculation, praise, trolling, fan edits — the whirlwind only grew.

"The Prince of Cricket is off the market!"
"Who is Riya Oberoi?"

Every outlet wanted a statement. A quote. A glimpse.

But both Riya and Shubman remained silent.

VOGUE India.

One name. One exclusive.

The glass-walled conference room was prepped like a film set. Cream couches. Soft lighting. A few crew members lingered quietly, mics ready.

Both Riya and Shubman walked in as graceful as they are. Riya in a soft blue saree with her chooda and sindoor along with the glow gracing the beauty along side Shubman in a dashing blue Kurta walked as they owned the world.

Dhwani — early thirties, sharp-eyed, confident — stood to greet them.

"I have to say," she smiled, shaking their hands, "this is a career moment."

Riya gave a modest smile. "We figured it was time to speak."

"And thank you for trusting us to do it right," Dhwani added, gesturing to their seats. "This won't be scripted. I'll ask what the world is asking. And you tell your story."

Shubman nodded. "That's all we've ever wanted to do."
