You wake up one morning and check your phone to see that you have been added to a group chat full of unknown numbers.
You rush through the streets, not paying full attention to where you are going as you bump into several people. Mumbling a quick apology, you swerve around a corner, promptly crashing into someone.
"My fucking apple :(" you say, watching the apple that had been in your mouth seconds ago roll around. The stranger you had essentially body slammed moments ago snorts.
"Can you hand me that?" You ask, any hope of getting to work on time gone with your dignity.
"So where are you going in such a hurry?" You take the apple from his outstretched hand.
"Well I was going to work but I doubt I'll be getting there on time anymore"
"That sucks. I don't think you should eat that apple though. It was on the ground. I'm Stu by the way" the man says.
"Good point" you respond, throwing the apple at the alley wall "nice to meet you Stu, I'm y/n"
"you should, like, give me your number" Stu says.
"I mean sure" you say, taken aback at his forwardness.
You scrawl down your number on a spare piece of paper and hand it to him.
"I do really need to get to work now. See you around Stu." You call as you walk away. You rack your brain for where you had heard that name before during the remainder of your walk to work.
T-T I am so sorry about how bad this chapter is. I sincerely though I had written more. I have been exhausted not to mention I have two finals due next week (one project one test, neither in my first language) and need to study. Plus my dad got knee surgery earlier today (yes I only mentioned this so I could put in the meme). There was more to this chapter but it wasn't done so this is all I have. I'll probably be posting the rest of what I had planned for this and more as a couple of mini chapters in this coming week. Anyways I am I am once again so sorry and hope y'all have a good day/night. :D
