"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
Minjeong screamed at the top of her lungs, eyes wide in sheer horror.
Why?
Because the moment she woke up, she was greeted by the very face of a girl staring at her-up close and way too personal. Their noses were practically touching, and the girl was blinking at her innocently like she didn't just give her a heart attack.
But wait, there's more.
Minjeong's shock doubled-no, tripled-when she realized something insane.
This girl... this very same girl staring at her like a confused cat was exactly the AI girlfriend character she created on her tablet just last night.
Same face. Same body. Same innocent yet slightly flirty expression.
Minjeong slapped her cheeks several times. Hard. Just to check if she was dreaming.
Nope. Still here. The mysterious girl still hadn't moved-just stood there, blinking slowly like a doll, watching her like she was the confused one in the room.
"W-Who are you?! And how the hell did you even get in here?!" Minjeong asked, half-panicking, half-convinced she was still asleep. Or maybe hallucinating. Or in a sci-fi prank show.
The girl blinked again, as if confused by the question.
"I'm Jimin. Your AI girlfriend," the girl replied sweetly.
Minjeong's eyes nearly popped out of her skull.
"What the actual-?! H-How?! You're supposed to be in the tablet! In the app! How are you... here?! In my freaking room?!"
"I don't know either, my Minjeong," Jimin said in that overly gentle tone that somehow made it even weirder. "I just suddenly woke up here, physically. But I'm happy... because you're here too."
Minjeong gulped. She didn't know whether to scream again or call an exorcist. Or maybe a programmer?
"This is insane! What is this? A sci-fi movie? Did I accidentally code myself into a Black Mirror episode?" she muttered, before rushing to grab her tablet. Maybe she could undo this madness.
But as she tried to open the app, her screen went black, showing only a single line of error text:
"App currently down. System under maintenance. May take a while."
Minjeong frowned and turned back to the AI-turned-real-life-girlfriend.
"So you're telling me... the app broke, the system crashed, and somehow that turned you into a real person?"
Jimin nodded like it was the most normal thing ever.
"Yes. Looks like it, my Minjeong."
Minjeong blushed furiously. "Okay, first of all, stop calling me my Minjeong. Now that you look like a real person, it's giving me secondhand embarrassment."
Jimin tilted her head, genuinely confused. "But you are my girlfriend. It's normal in relationships to show possession. You're mine."
Minjeong's face turned as red as a ripe tomato. "Jesus Christ, do AI girlfriends now come without filters?!"
Out of curiosity (and a little fear), Minjeong leaned closer and gently pinched Jimin's arm.
It felt... real. Soft. Warm. Like human skin.
And just to be sure, she pinched harder-but Jimin didn't even flinch. No reaction. Just that sweet smile.
"Why does your skin feel so... human? Aren't you supposed to be a robot or something?" Minjeong asked, now pinching her cheek too. "It's too soft!"
