I woke from a dream that held us close,
her hand in mine,
soft and sure,
as if the universe had always planned it.
We wandered through golden hours,
laughing,
gathering memories like petals in the wind.
I met her father
his eyes deep with storms and knowing.
He looked at me and said,
"Only you can heal her."
She smiled at me,
and I smiled back
our hearts speaking without a word.
As our lips drew near,
the morning broke,
and the alarm stole it all away.
Before the dream could slip into shadows,
I wrote it down
because some dreams
feel too real to forget.

Words That Stayed with Me
RandomThese aren't poems. These are pieces of me, the thoughts I typed but never shared, the feelings I felt too deeply to say out loud. If you've ever loved in silence, dreamed too vividly, or been hurt without blame... this is for you.
