CHAPTER 2: Touch and Go

Akshu

There's a knock on my window.
Not the front door. Not a text.
My damn window.

I don't even flinch. I already know who it is.

"Jesus, you're a cat burglar now?" I mutter, yanking the window open.

Kaustubh crouches on the ledge like it's his second home-which, let's be real, it kinda is.
He slides in with zero grace, hoodie up, eyes glinting with that reckless energy I pretend doesn't make my heart do that thing.

The thing it's not supposed to do.

"I brought snacks," he says, dropping a bag of chips and two KitKats on my bed.
"Also, I haven't gotten laid in a week. Your fault, by the way."

"Oh no," I gasp, mock horror in my tone. "Is the poor boy dying of thirst?"

"You know what'd help?" he says, stepping closer.
His voice dips. Lower. Rougher.
"One night. No feelings. No strings. Just you, me, and that sinful little mouth of yours."

I smirk. "You're disgusting."

"Yet here I am. Still your favorite."

He's right.
And that's the problem.

But I don't say anything. I just pull him by the hoodie and kiss the smirk off his face.

Kaustubh

She tastes like rebellion.
Like trouble I'm willingly diving into.

The kiss isn't soft. It's fast, sharp, needy.
The kind you only have with someone who knows exactly where to touch, how hard to pull, when to stop-
and when not to.

Akshu bites my bottom lip and smirks.

"Clothes off," she orders.
And I obey. Because in this room, in this moment-she rules.

Not forever.
Not outside these walls.
But here? It's just us.
Raw. Unfiltered. Addicted.

This is the only kind of chaos I crave
