"My sensory perception is clearer than ever," Garou thought, eyes narrowing in focus. "I can actually visualize the structure of my own chakra now."

With that in mind, he slowed his hand seals, weaving through each one deliberately, his chakra flowing in harmony with each precise movement. Moments later, the Chakra Scalpel flickered to life in his palm.

But this wasn't enough.

Letting the chakra dissipate, he began modifying the seal sequence, swapping out two hand signs. With an added burst of refined chakra control, a new form emerged.

In the center of his palm, a slender needle of concentrated chakra took shape. It gleamed like crystal, condensed into a near-solid form, vibrating faintly with raw energy.

He tested it by tapping it against a kunai.

Clang!

It rang with a clear metallic tone, effortlessly deflecting the blade.

"As I thought. These alternate seals help condense chakra more efficiently. Still requires extreme control, though. Most ninja wouldn't be able to replicate it."

He reached for his notebook and jotted down a few key notes:

[Chakra Needle – Difficulty: A+]

[Effect: Physical interaction possible. Offensive potential unknown.]

[Optimization Goals: Finer point, increased quantity, improved durability, reduced difficulty.]

[Conclusion: Not currently viable for mass training.]

Even so, it had surgical potential.

While the Chakra Scalpel was excellent for soft-tissue work, it struggled with complex tasks like repairing torn ligaments or separating fragmented bone and tissue. For those situations, the Chakra Needle could be far more precise.

"Only one way to know for sure," he muttered, standing up. "Let's test it."

---

Garou headed to the medical division.

Despite being an academy student with no formal training in medical ninjutsu, he was determined to participate in a real surgery.

But for that, he needed approval from his supervisor, Kitayama.

Thankfully, she was far too busy to still be embarrassed about the… novel incident from earlier. Between practical training, lectures, and surgeries, her schedule barely gave her time to breathe.

She barely glanced up when Garou walked in, though a flicker of recollection did pass through her eyes.

After a beat of silence, it was Garou who spoke first.

"Sensei, I've been experimenting with integrating the Chakra Scalpel into a technique I've been developing."

Kitayama stared at him like he'd just claimed to invent time travel.

"…You just learned the Scalpel. What do you mean you've already 'integrated' it?"

She pinched the bridge of her nose. This kid can't be real.

Still, she sighed. "Okay. Show me."

"I call it Chakra Needle," Garou said, forming a new sequence of hand signs.

A glowing spike emerged from his palm, shimmering with compact energy. "I reinforced the shape transformation, so it's nearly solid."

Kitayama's eyes widened instantly.

She wasn't a rookie. She had years of experience under her belt, and she knew immediately how useful a technique like this could be. She turned and rifled through a stack of patient files.
