Broken&Gifted (JayWon)

Jungwon and Jay made there way to the cafeteria in silence. It wasn't until Jay begin leading in familiar direction toward a table he only ever looked at from afar did his nerves start acting up again.
Ni-ki was the first one to see them, both shock and confusion, showed on his face.
Hey guys, this is Jungwon. Jay introduced. An awkward silence took over the table before heeseung decided to speak up.
It's nice to meet you, jungwon. He smiled, winking playfully. Jungwon, surpriseing everyone (except Jay), returned it. Hi and heesung, right? Jungwon asked, playing along.
"Yeah, how did you know my name?"
Heesung asked, leaning on the table and smiling at him.
"What is happening right now?" Sunghoon spoke up eyeing the two like they've lost there minds.
Which is understandable considering the last time they were all together ending with secrets spilled and Jungwon haven't talked to them since. Jay dosen't know any of this of course since he just recently transferred to this school. Jungwon couldn't help but think about how happy this would've have made him to have his attention like this a few days ago.
"Oh me Jungwon talked earlier today" Heesung explained
"And you forgave him?" Sunoo asked hesitantly.
Yeah..? Didn't we already talk about this?" Jungwon said, confused on how both him and heesung forgot about these conversations. "You guys already know each other?" Jay asked also confused now.  Yeah were friends... you two were supposed to meet ay the party. Ni-ki answered. Jake flinched at the mention of the party causing jungwon to look at him. Oh how come i didn't see you then? jay asked the question directed to jungwon. Everyone lse at the table tensed wondering what he was going to say. "oh i left early i didn't feel well" jungwon answered. 

"Oh is that why you haven't been around for awhile?" Jay said.  Jungwon just nodded in response not wanting to talk about the situation anymore. " Are you guys ready for the ceremony this evening?" sunghoon asked changing the topic. " Im honestly nervous. sunoo spoke up a small frown on his face. " i already told you there's nothing to worry about." Ni-ki sighed throwing his arm around him and pulling him into a side hug. "Yeah literally one the professors is just gonna draw rune on your arm and the head master says something inspirational everybody cheers and we go home." sunghoon grubbled truly thinking that whole thing is waste of time. 

"My mother said it's a test"sunoo explained. "Test?" jungwon questioned. "well yeah when rune is drawn on you it will glow a color" Heesung said. "What does the colors mean?" Jungwon asked curious to why it mattered. "Multiple things but the short answer is how powerful you are."Jay answered him. "Why does that matter?"Sunoo asked not liking the information he's finding about this ceremony the day he has to participate. " Well, it helps the school with there curriculum and you guys will start taking classes catered to your power instead the basic mundane knowledge classes." heesung said. " More like give the someone to brang about on the school website. Sunghoon said rolling his eyes. " you were only on there for a week in it was two years ago." Jake said. " Yeah and for that entire week people were staring at me and wanting to talk and the only i could think about doing freezing there months shut." Sunghoon frowned thinking back when his power first started. 

"It's normal to feel that way in the beginning it can be very overwhelming especially when you have mental power like mine. I swear either my head was gonna blow or someone else's. Heesung expressed trying comfort him boyfriend and also sharing his experience.

Is that why my head been hurting? Jungwon thought to himself.  

"Most likely" Heesung answered him smiling. Jungwon titled his head. "Did i say that out loud?"

"Nope" heesung said still giving him a cheeky smile. Jungwon eyes widen. "You can read minds?" Jungwon asked "Yes and people's emotions but it be very overstimulating say were this." He said showing a silver pendent around his neck. "it's a family heirloom empaths run in the family."heesung explained.
