I pulled on a pair of long black leggings and a black long sleeved blouse.
I pulled my black heels from yesterday and starter c on my usual makeup.
Once I finished I straightened my hair with Gracie's hair straightener before spraying myself with my Victoria's Secret perfume.
I walked out of Gracie's room grabbing my phone on the way.
My shoes clicked against the wooden floor as I walked into the living room, taking a seat in the chair.
"Ewana" Grant's 4 year old cousin screamed as he launched himself at me.
"How's my number 1 boy doing?" I grinned as he started to play with my hair.
"Hey!" Grant walked in and took a seat on the arm of my chair. "I thought I was your number 1 boy" Grant whined.
My phone started to ring cutting my off from speaking.
I grabbed it to see that it was an unknown number.
"Hello?"
"Hello this is Wandsworth prison is this Eleanor Allen" the man asked.
"Yes this is she" I stood up and walked outside into the garden porch.
"As you may know, we have opened the case of your mother Brianna Allen's death" he started.
"Yes"
"Well, we have our suspicions that Mrs Allen is not dead. We have had some sightings of her in Scotland. I just wanted to know if you're aware of this"
"My mother is alive?"
"Yes Ms Allen"
"Please. Call me Eleanor"
"Well Eleanor, we have her in Brianna Allen in the prison as we cannot get a hold of Mr Allen. We will let her go along with your brother, but we need you to sign them out" the man explained.
"Right, well I won't be able to sign them out till Monday after I arrive back to England" I explained.
"We'll Ms Eleanor, take your time and both of them will be right here. When you come into the building tell the receptionist that you need to see Officer Boris"
With that we hung up.
My mother didn't die.
I was confused, why didn't she tell us.
Does dad know?
Of course he doesn't.
I walked back in and shut the door.
"Who was that?" Grant asked as I took a seat beside him.
"The police, my mum never died" I smiled.
"That's amazing babe" Grant grinned hugging me.
What had me wondering is that they buried an empty grave.
-
"This shark looks like you" Grant laughed pointing at the hammer shark.
"Shut up" I laughed pulling my hand away from his.
-
We all sat around the living room while Grant was outside playing with his cousins.
"I got something for all of you, I'll go get it" I ran up the stairs and dug into my bag grabbing the envelope I had in there.
I walked back down the stairs and handed Tina the envelope. She looked at me and raised at eyebrow.
"4 plane tickets to England on the 13th, I already reserved you a hotel for that night. And I was thinking to surprise Grant on his birthday, and I think it would be great if you were there. Oh and the return tickets are in there for the 23rd" I grinned as I stared at a teary eyed Tina.
She stood up and instantly engulfed me into a tight hug.
"You're so sweet baby, I can't wait for you to be in daughter in law" Tina gushed making me giggle.
