Leo's breath hitched.

Diana was shocked by her brother's words.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, brother... I don't want to die... please save me, don't kill me, please," she pleaded tearfully, wrapping her arms around his legs.

How can her only brother say such a thing to her?

"Please, Dickson, please forgive her; she's your only sister... Please don't do this to her," Nadia begged, joining Leo and Diana on their knees.

Dickson rubbed his palms over his face, looking so confused.

He wished there were a way to help his sister, but if he didn't kill Diana and tried to save her, the curse would fall upon him, and he would end up dying in her place.

Leo and Nadia ran after him, begging tearfully.

As they reached the exit door, all of a sudden, Diana spat out blood, taking everyone by surprise.

She clutched her stomach, losing her grip and falling to the ground, but Dickson was quick enough to catch her.

He knelt on the floor, making Diana lean on his thighs.

"Diana!!! What's happening?" he asked, glancing at her nose and lips that were bleeding.
