3rd Person POV // Hypnobrai Tomb. // Lloyd-focused

Lloyd was being lead by a member of the Hypnobrai tribe using a piece of rope tied to the boy's wrist. Slithraa was.. walking? Slithering? whatever it is he's doing, next to him. Lloyd turned to the snake and spoke in a hushed voice. "Do something, General. You're still under my command, right?"

All of the tribe stopped walking when Slithraa came to a halt, raising his voice. 
"Enough! I am the General! You will return my staff at once!" He voiced, pointing at Skales, who was holding the staff.

Skales looked at the staff, then back at the General. "No." He responded, making all gathered Hypnobrai gasp.

"You dare challenge my command?!" Slithraa questioned, outraged by his second-in-command disobedience. Lloyd nodded, satisfied that the serpentine under his command was standing his ground.  
All the Hypnobrai, except for Skales and Slithraa, started chanting repeatedly.

"Slither pit! Slither pit! Slither Pit! Slither Pit!"

"I guess we'll have to fight for it..." Skales stated, looking at the staff. "In... The Slither Pit!" Skales finished and the crowd of serpentine cheered, Lloyd looked around nervously.

The two serpentine prepare to fight, Skales hands the staff to a different serpentine for the fight. The Hypnobrai who Skales gave the staff to, Mezmo, walks to a platform above and speaks to the tribe.
"Winner gets the staff and leads the tribe! You know the rules. There are none, but in the Slither Pit, whatever I say, goes." Mezmo stated and the two nodded. "Alright, fight!"

The fight starts, the serpentine of the tribe cheering in the background. Skales and Slithraa circle around the ring, preparing for attack. Slithraa strikes first, sliding his tail in an attempt to trip his former second-in-command. Skales jumps up, dodging the attack, and tries to punch Slithraa in the face, but he catches the other's hand, avoiding the attack. Slithraa almost punches Skales, but he leans back and spins, then kicks Slithraa in the face.

Throughout all this commotion, Lloyd, who was tied to a block of ice, noticed a map sticking out of a different block of ice, what had some serpentine skeleton frozen in it. He tries to reach the map, but the rope he is tied with is to short for him to grab the piece of paper.

"Two weapons!"  Mezmo exclaims from his platform, pulling a lever, lowering a rack with weapons made of ice. The Hypnobrai cheer. Slithraa picks up a pickaxe and a shield, while Skales picks up two swords. 

Slithraa throws the pickaxe at Skales, who dodges. The pickaxe hits the wall, shattering the ice, making the whole tomb shake, causing the icicles to shake too, one of them falling down at Slithraa, who protects himself with the shield.
