he pulled his hand away from her and turned on his heels toward the door. "come inside. summer's probably waiting for you."

(y/n) followed him inside, mentally pulling herself together. her heart was beating fast. she saw summer sitting on the couch watching tv.

"hey (y/n)! come on let's go upstairs to my room."

(y/n) and summer had been working on her algebra homework for about an hour and decided it was time for a well deserved break. the two of them were sat on summer's bed. the red head plopped backwards with a sigh.

"why is this so hard." she groaned, putting a hand over her face.

(y/n) chuckled a little in response. "we're almost done! there's only a few more questions."

"thank you for helping me by the way." summer gave her a little smile. "i'm glad granpa rick suggested that you tutor me. i literally like could not have done this without you."

'rick, huh? of course'

it had all come together now. this was his way of keeping her around, and she wasn't upset about it.

"yeah summer of course." (y/n) replied back sweetly. "i can start coming over once a week if you want?"

summer let out a sign of relief. "thank god. my mom was gonna flip tits if i fail this class. you're a life saver."

"come on let's finish, we're almost done." (y/n) said as she pulled summer's algebra textbook back out. she was anxious to see rick again, her stomach felt fuzzy at the idea.

(y/n) and summer hung out in her room for a while once they finished her homework, chatting about nonsense. they heard beth call upstairs that dinner was ready. the both of them went down and made plates, then sat at the table.

"thank you beth. this looks delicious." (y/n) thanked her with a smile.

"no, thank you. summer needs all the help she can get." beth replied, looking over to summer to see her reaction.

she just rolled her eyes. "whatever."

(y/n) watched as rick entered the room with his plate and very casually sat right next to her. she could feel rick's hand make its way to her thigh. (y/n) felt a slight rush of blood to her cheeks, hoping it wasn't noticeable. she didn't react, but she were melting on the inside.

"so how bad is summer at algebra?" rick asked, squeezing (y/n)'s thigh under the table.

she chuckled. "she definitely would've failed if i hadn't come over." (y/n) teased.

everyone had finished dinner and (y/n), summer, and morty were all sitting on the couch watching tv. summer had been begging her to watch this parody show of bones called 'ass' , so she reluctantly agreed. they all made playful banter about what was going on and they couldn't help but laugh.

"i think i left my phone upstairs." (y/n) said. the show had just gone to commercial so she figured this would be a good time to check. she got up and began to head up to summer's room. (y/n) walked upstairs and through the hallway, a door opening to her left. it was rick coming out of the bathroom.

they both made eye contact. rick's blue eyes piercing into her's. rick spoke first with a drunken smirk. "did you follow me up here?"

his arrogance made her sneer slightly. she let out a chuckle, amused by his narcissistic tendencies. "i'm just grabbing my phone. i left it in summer's room."

rick did not look amused by her response. he grabbed (y/n) by the wrist, pulled her into the bathroom, and shut the door behind her. before she could react she was pinned with her back against the door. she could smell the liquor on his breath.

"i don't appreciate this little 'hard to get' act your putting on." he grumbled quietly into her ear. (y/n) felt her body shiver at the warmth of his breath. he began to kiss down her neck, his hands lingering her body. this was a side of rick (y/n) was unfamiliar with, but she wasn't necessarily upset about it.

"i-i.." was all she managed to get out before rick pressed his lips into her's. he tasted like liquor and candy and (y/n) was melting into his touch. she could feel his cold hands begin to snake up her shirt, a soft gasp escaping from her lips.

the spontaneity of the situation made her heart race. "r-rick." (y/n) was able to mutter out between his lips. "we shouldn't be doing this."

"shut up." was all he grumbled in response before smashing his lips back into her's. as much as she was worried they might get caught, it was exciting her more than she was willing to admit. (y/n) brought her hands up and tangled them in the man's light blue hair. just then, they both heard a knock at the door. (y/n)'s eyes grew wide.

"(y/n)? are you in there?" summer asked behind the door. rick brought a hand up to her mouth before she could say anything.

"no, summer, it's me. what do you want?" rick responded in an annoyed tone, still looking into (y/n)'s eyes. he enjoyed how flustered she looked.

"i'm just looking for (y/n). she came up here a while ago but i can't find her." summer replied.

"did you check in the garage?" rick asked through the door. (y/n) was still a little distracted by what had just been happening, looking up at rick with troubled eyes.

"no." summer replied. "i guess i didn't. i'll go check."

they heard the sound of summer's footsteps walk away. rick took his hand away from (y/n)'s mouth and took a few steps back. "come over here, now." he demanded sternly.

(y/n) stood in shock for a moment before doing as she was told. she watched rick pulled out a gun or ray of some sort. "what is that?" she asked. he ignored her question and she watched as he shot a green portal onto the wall in front of her.

"walk through it." rick demanded. (y/n) looked at him like he was crazy.

"are you serious??" she whisper shouted.

"yes. it's going to put you in the garage. just hurry up and walk through it before summer gets down there." rick stated in a matter of fact tone; like (y/n) would be stupid if she didn't.

(y/n) let out a sigh, realizing this was really her only option. "okay fine." she looked at the portal in front of her for a second before reluctantly letting herself walk through it. she was now in the middle of the garage, looking back at the swirling green portal behind her in awe. "woah." (y/n) said quietly to herself, watching as the portal in front of her swirled out of existence.

a couple seconds later summer opened the door to the garage. "oh hey, i was looking for you. did you find your phone?"

(y/n) looked at her dumbfounded, still processing what had just happened. "uh..." it took her second to respond. her brain was definitely elsewhere. "my phone?" she had forgotten that was why she left in the first place. "oh yeah, my phone! uh, n-no i haven't found it yet." (y/n) replied sheepishly. her cheeks were still red from her encounter with rick.

summer looked at her with a raised eyebrow. it was unlike (y/n) to act so unaware. "um, okay?" she seemed a little suspicious, but (y/n) wasn't going to say anything; knowing she would just dig herself deeper into a hole. "well come on, i'll help you find it."
