Y/n L/n, a regular kid from Bellwood is going for a road trip across the country in summer vacation with his friend, Ben Tennyson. Although, their average summer is going to change their life when two meteorites crash down to earth.
A huge and gentle light of the sunset shone a peaceful city until an airship is being hijacked by a group of criminal in a similar bird dress.
Wildvine is fighting one of them inside the engine room. The two are fighting on a catwalk, and Wildvine punched the man off the platform with ease. The man fell on another catwalk below him where Gwen is waiting. She chanted a spell, and metal rods restrained the man tightly from moving.
Another one is planting a bomb on the engine and punching a code to arm it. Max then entered the room behind and immediately knocked him out of conscious with a single punch.
"I promised my grandkids a relaxing ride! Not you!"
The leader is in the bridge with hostages. He's inputing the arming code into his bomb but suddenly, a black dense fluid with red neon color stripe fell on the device from above and disarmed it with a spark flashing. The leader struggled to peel the fluid off but, the fluid began to restrain him before gripping and bashed him to the floor unconscious. It then absorbed the jetpack from the man's back before peeling itself from and took form of Malhound.

He sprouted a mechanical wings from his back while growling up in triumph manner before retracting them back into himself. Wildvine and the team entered the room to see Malhound has defeated the boss.
"Grandpa, what can we do next?" The hero asked.
"Get you to school, Ben. Summer's over."
Both hero and predator jolted before sharing a glance, and then they hugged in each other tightly with Wildvine weeping and Malhound howling out loud.

The team is on their way to Bellwood, and the kids are on the dining table with Ben whining in complain manner.
"Can't this ting go any slower?"
"If we go any slower, we'll miss the first day of school." Gwen remarked.
"Duh! that's the point, brainiac."
"Don't want the summer to end, Sport?" Max smiled.
"What? So I can go back to my normal boring life in total normal boring Bellwood?"
"At least you have Y/n to accompany you." Gwen said.
The kids looked at the mentioned kid who is sitting next to Ben. The Nemetrix's wielder watched the welcome sign gone pass him in moping manner with his hand supporting his head from the chin.
