Spoiler alert:legal notice of pookie signed by abhira by The end

Spoiler alert for next chapter: armaan's reaction to the legal notice

Lets start the chapter

Abhira knew she needed to tell Abhinav about armaan he deserved to know about his biological father and difference between only giving blood and one giving love

Scene: Living room, late evening. Abhinav is on the rug doodling on Manik’s lyric notebook (with permission, of course). Manik is lounging with a guitar, tuning it while Abhira sits on the couch flipping through legal files, half-listening — half-swooning.

---

Abhira: (softly but seriously) “Abhinav… baby, there’s something we need to talk to you about.”

Abhinav: (not looking up) “Okay, but if it’s about that cookie jar, I swear it fell on its own. The jar was unstable. Just like my mumma when I use her highlighters.”

Manik: (mock gasp) “Objection, Your Honour! The witness is trying to distract from the main issue!”

Abhira: (laughs softly) “Focus, boys. This is serious.”

Manik: (mischievous) “Is this where we tell him he’s secretly a wizard?”

Abhira: “Manik!”

Manik: “Fine, fine. No Hogwarts today. Go ahead.”

Abhira: (gently, turning to Abhinav) “Baby, there’s something you need to know. About your birth family.”

Abhinav: (pauses, then blinks up) “Are you saying I’m adopted?”

Abhira: (smiling faintly) “No. You were born to me. And your biological father… is someone you haven’t really known.”

Manik: (swooping in before tension can build) “But let me tell you something, champ. You may have his DNA, but I’ve spent seven years fixing your school projects, explaining photosynthesis like a rock concert, and eating your pancake experiments. If that doesn’t change blood type, I don’t know what does.”

Abhinav: (deadpan) “So basically, my blood cells now run on sarcasm and guitar strings.”

Manik: (smirking) “Exactly. It’s a documented condition. Look it up: Rockstar-itis. Very rare. Very cool.”

Abhinav: (suddenly gasps) “WAIT. Was that karela-faced uncle who stared at us yesterday…?”

Abhira: (holds back a laugh) “Yes. That was… Armaan.”

Abhinav: (gagging noise) “UGH. No offense, but I refuse to believe I’m biologically connected to him. Like, okay, green eyes — fine — but mine are clearly superior. His looked like… uncooked peas.”

Manik: (clutches heart dramatically) “Oh god, I love this kid. He’s definitely mine. The blood has changed. I’m telling you, seven years of love and sarcasm — boom! Full DNA transfer.”
