They were having dinner when someone rang the doorbell. Mrs. Kim was about to get up when Taehyung stood up.

Tae : I will check

Taehyung went to open the door. Everyone waited for him to come back. But he was taking his time. Jungkook was about to go and look for him when Taehyung came back with a boy around his age.

Tae : you can stay for a bit, Minjae. It's been so long since you've visited

Mrs Kim : oh Minjae. Come, join us.

Minjae : no need, Auntie. I just came to drop off some strawberries I picked from our farm

Mr Kim : eat with us, it really has been too long

Tae : you sit. I will get you a plate.

Jm : join us, these are my in laws

Minjae : hi * he greeted, and settled onto a chair next to Taehyung * I'm Taehyung's friend

Jk : hello * Jungkook greeted him *

Jm : he is taehyung's finance.

Minjae : what? Really * he asked, eyes wide and sounding surprised. Jungkook smiled at him *

Jm : yeah. Their marriage just got fixed a few minutes ago

Minjae : oh, congratulations. I can't believe I'm hearing this now, though. Tae, you didn't say a word

Tae : it was all sudden * he said, settling onto the chair *

After dinner, everyone was relaxing. The dads were watching the news and chatting about current events. Mrs. Park and Mrs. Jeon were deep in conversation. Jimin was curled on the sofa, scrolling through his phone, while Yoongi and Jungkook were engrossed in something on Jungkook's phone.

Mrs Kim : Minjae, can you do me a favor?

Minjae : of course, if I can, I definitely will

Mrs Kim : Minjae, can you please talk to Taehyung? After your incident, you know how he reacts when it comes to marriage, right? He only said yes to this marriage because of us. Jungkook truly is a wonderful person. But we are worried Taehyung might feel pressured. Please, encourage him to open up to Jungkook, to really give this a chance. * she said, looking down * please tell him to give Jungkook a chance. If you say it, he'll understand

Minjae : don't worry, Auntie. I'll talk to him. And don't feel bad, you guys only want the best for him, we know it * he said reassuringly * where is he?

Mrs Kim : he is in the kitchen

Minjae headed to the kitchen. He saw Taehyung munching on strawberries, he smiled, shook his head fondly, and walked toward him. Taehyung, oblivious to his friend's arrival, was humming softly, totally engrossed in the sweet fruit.

Minjae : saving all the good ones for yourself, huh? * Taehyung startled, nearly dropping a strawberry *

Tae : Minjae! You scared me * he said, a smile breaking through his surprise * these are amazing, by the way. Thanks

Minjae : so, did you really agreed to the marriage? * pulled out a chair next to Taehyung and sat down *

Tae : hmm yes * he said, munching on a strawberry *

Minjae : I'm happy that you finally thought about it. I was always feeling guilty about it. Because of me, you are staying single

Tae : Minjae * he he called out, his voice firm *

Minjae : I'm sorry, I won't say it again

Tae : you better not * he said, handing him a strawberry *

Minjae : your mom said you agreed to the marriage because of them. Is it true? She feels so bad about it. She asked me to talk to you, to give him a chance
