The demon castle bathed in a rare calm, its obsidian towers glittering under the scarlet dawn. Inside its grand halls, two kings lingered in the quiet aftermath of war and passion.
Minho stood near the open balcony, the morning air tousling his hair, a wine cup dangling lazily between his fingers. Behind him, still curled in the velvet sheets of their shared bed, Jisung stretched with a yawn.
"You're awake." Minho said without turning.
"Not really." Jisung mumbled, voice still hoarse with sleep. "Just pretending. You always look good when you're moody on a balcony."
Minho looked back, arching a brow. "And you look ridiculous with your hair like that."
"Shut up, I look adorable." Jisung padded barefoot across the marble floor, wrapping his arms around Minho from behind, chin resting on his shoulder. “So, what now, husband?”
Minho’s lips twitched. “We rule. We rebuild. And we deal with… our guests.”
Jisung laughed softly. “You mean Changbin hyung and Hyunjin hyung?”
Minho groaned. “That celestial king and your menace brother? Yes.”

Elsewhere in the castle…
"You’re wearing that?" Seungmin asked, eyeing Hyunjin with an unimpressed stare as the celestial prince admired himself in a mirror.
Hyunjin turned dramatically, robes shimmering with starlight and tailored arrogance. “What’s wrong with it?”
“You look like the moon got drunk and fell into a sewing machine.”
“I take that as a compliment.” Hyunjin grinned, fluffing his sleeves. “Not everyone can pull off divine elegance. I am celestial royalty.”
“You’re also in the demon realm.” Seungmin muttered, arms crossed. “Tone it down, glitter prince.”
Hyunjin leaned closer. “But if I tone it down, you’d miss staring at me.”
Seungmin blinked. “Excuse me?”
“I’ve noticed.” Hyunjin’s voice dropped just enough to make Seungmin flinch. “You glare every time I walk into a room. Almost like you want to keep me there.”
Seungmin opened his mouth, then closed it.
Hyunjin smiled, victorious.

Back on the royal balcony…
"Do you think they’ll kill each other or fall in love?" Jisung asked, still hugging Minho from behind.
Minho sipped his wine thoughtfully. “Knowing Seungmin, probably both.”
Jisung snorted, resting his head against Minho’s back. “Felix and Changbin might get married before those two even hold hands.”
“Speaking of Felix,” Minho said with a slight scowl, “he better not be sneaking into celestial bedrooms.”
Jisung pulled away to face him. “He’s the innocent one? You’re the one who tried to kill me on our first meet.”
Minho’s lips curved in a rare smile. “And now you wear my crown, share my bed, and rule my kingdom.”
Jisung grinned. “Who says I lost?”
“You didn’t.” Minho said softly, brushing his fingers along Jisung’s cheek. “You never did.”
They stood in silence a moment, watching the horizon stretch crimson and gold, their realm breathing, surviving.
Together.
And somewhere else in the castle, Hyunjin laughed as Seungmin slammed the door in his face… again.
Peace, for now, was chaotic, clumsy, but real.

The throne room was quiet, a rare and strange calm after weeks of chaos and rebuilding. Sunlight filtered through the high stained-glass windows, casting a glow of crimson, gold, and violet across the obsidian floor. Minho sat on the throne, one leg crossed over the other, fingers drumming lightly on the armrest. Jisung stood beside him, dressed in silver-lined robes of dark crimson, his presence proud yet easy, as if he was born to belong in that very spot beside the demon king.
The great doors creaked open.
Felix stepped in first, composed but a little flushed. Behind him, Changbin followed, dressed in celestial white and gold, a small smile curling his lips. Minho’s sharp gaze flicked between the two of them, noting the tension… the closeness… the scent of shared air and a night not spent alone.
Jisung immediately arched a brow and smirked.
“Well, well,” he whispered to Minho, nudging his arm playfully. “Someone looks well-rested.”
Minho exhaled through his nose, not bothering to hide the way he narrowed his eyes at Felix. “How long has he been staying in your room?” he asked the younger prince flatly.
Felix’s eyes widened. “Hyung-”
Jisung stepped in, arms crossed, already grinning. “Minho, don’t scowl. You’re scaring the poor demon prince. He might think you're becoming rude again.”
“He already thinks that.” Changbin said calmly, with a nod of respect toward Minho. “But I also know some demons are… capable of change.”
Minho stared at him. “Is that your attempt at flattery?”
Changbin tilted his head, smiling faintly. “Would you rather I lie?”
“Don’t tempt him.” Jisung said, moving forward and motioning for them to sit on the side seats flanking the throne. “What brings you two here anyway? Shouldn’t you be tangled up in awkward glances and stammered goodbyes somewhere private?”
Felix shot him a glare, cheeks flushed bright. “We came to talk about the new alliance plans.”
“Mm,” Minho hummed, serious now. “Good. If we’re doing this, we’ll do it properly. The demon realm will not be caught off-guard again.”
Felix nodded, glancing once at Changbin, who gave him a reassuring look.
“The celestial realm agrees.” Changbin said, stepping forward. “We’ll send more healers. More protection wards. A shared treaty between our strongest warriors and mages.”
Jisung’s brows lifted. “So we all have relationship now?”
Changbin glanced at Felix again, slower this time. “Let’s say… some relationships are just beginning.”
Felix’s ears were a light pink now. He looked down at the floor briefly before raising his head with a small, determined smile.
Minho caught that. He leaned back in his throne and sighed, murmuring under his breath, “Demons, help me, I’m going to have a celestial brother-in-law.”
Jisung tried and failed to hold back a laugh.
And for a while, the four of them sat, demon king, a celestial kings, and a once-innocent prince, speaking of politics, peace, and futures that finally seemed worth dreaming of.
Together.
