The Time Skip – The Marines' Influence

Months had passed since the Marines officially stationed themselves in Japan, working alongside the heroes to root out criminal activity and dismantle the League of Villains. Their presence had changed everything.

Under Nika's leadership, crime rates plummeted. The Marines were not bound by the same restrictions as Pro Heroes, allowing them to operate with efficiency and ruthlessness that Japan had never seen before. Villains who had once terrorized the streets now lived in fear, their operations crushed before they could even take root. The Nomu labs were raided and destroyed, their creators either captured or eliminated.

U.A. had also undergone drastic improvements. After Nika's brutal evaluation of the hero students, their training regimens had been completely restructured. The Marines' methods were far harsher than anything the students had ever experienced, but they produced undeniable results. The weak were weeded out, and those who endured became stronger than ever before.

Still, despite their improvements, not a single one of them could reach Nika's level. Not even close.

But the Marines weren't just focused on strength—they also instilled discipline, strategy, and an understanding of real combat. For the first time, the hero students were forced to confront the harsh reality of their world.

And through it all, Nika stood at the top, an indomitable force that even the highest-ranking Pro Heroes couldn't hope to match.

A Time for Themselves

Despite their overwhelming responsibilities, Nika and Yoruichi never neglected their time together. Their bond had only grown stronger over the months, their obsession with each other deepening to a level that could only be described as absolute.

To the world, they were known as a legendary pair, feared and respected. But to each other, they were something far more intimate—two beings who had found their perfect match in one another. A connection that transcended time, fate, and reason itself.

One evening, they walked hand-in-hand through a quiet seaside town, far from the chaos of their duties. Yoruichi leaned against Nika, her golden eyes shining with mischief as she smirked up at him.

"You know," she mused, "for someone so feared, you're pretty soft when we're alone."

Nika chuckled, tightening his grip on her waist. "Only for you."

She grinned. "Damn right."

Their stroll continued, stopping at various food stalls and small shops. Yoruichi had insisted they take a break from everything, and Nika—despite his usual preference for action—could never deny her anything.

At one point, they found themselves at a local festival, where Yoruichi dragged him towards a game stall. "Alright, Admiral, let's see if your godly strength can win me a prize."

Nika raised an eyebrow, glancing at the simple ring toss game. "This is rigged."

She pouted. "Oh? You're not confident?"

His eyes narrowed playfully before he picked up a ring. With a flick of his fingers, it landed perfectly on the highest-value target, despite the near-impossible design of the game. The stall owner paled, realizing he had no excuse to deny the win.

Yoruichi burst out laughing, wrapping her arms around Nika's neck as she kissed his cheek. "That's my man."

He smirked. "Obviously."

Meeting Hestia

The next stop on their journey led them to the home of the one person who had always been there for Nika—Hestia.

Nika had never hidden his love for the goddess who had acted as his true mother, the one who had shown him warmth when no one else had. Introducing Yoruichi to her felt... important.

Hestia welcomed them with open arms, smiling warmly at Nika before turning her gaze to Yoruichi. The goddess's eyes held curiosity, but also a hint of something deeper—approval, perhaps.

"So you're the one who has my son wrapped around her finger," Hestia mused, sipping her tea.

Yoruichi smirked. "Oh, it goes both ways."

Nika, sitting beside her, didn't even bother denying it. Instead, he took Yoruichi's hand in his, squeezing it gently. "I wanted you two to meet because... she's going to be my wife."

Hestia's eyes widened slightly before softening. She placed a hand over his, her expression filled with warmth. "I see... I'm happy for you, Nika."

Yoruichi grinned. "Of course, you are. We're perfect for each other."

Hestia chuckled. "I can see that."

They spent the rest of the evening talking, laughing, and simply enjoying the rare peace. Hestia could see it clearly—Nika had found someone who truly understood him, someone who matched him in every way.

And for that, she was truly grateful.

As the night ended, Nika and Yoruichi stood beneath the moonlit sky, the sound of waves crashing in the distance. He turned to her, his expression uncharacteristically serious.

"Yoruichi," he murmured.

She tilted her head. "Hm?"

He took a deep breath, reaching into his coat pocket and pulling out a small box. Yoruichi's golden eyes widened slightly as he opened it, revealing a beautifully crafted ring, shimmering with a brilliance that seemed almost otherworldly.

"I don't ever plan on letting you go," he said, his voice firm. "You're mine. Just as I'm yours. Forever."

Yoruichi stared at him for a moment before a slow, almost predatory smile spread across her lips. She reached out, taking the ring and slipping it onto her finger.

"Good," she whispered, pulling him down into a fierce kiss. "Because I was never going to let you go either."

And with that, their fate was sealed.
