The figure from the Crimson Door stood still.

He didn’t blink. Didn’t breathe.

But his voice… it shook the Underchapel.

> “You ruled beside us, Jeon Jungkook.
Before you chose flesh.
Before you chose him.”

Taehyung flinched beside him.

But Jungkook just stared.

“I don’t remember.”

The being tilted its head.

> “No. But the shadows do.”

---

Suddenly, the torches lining the stone walls flared black.
Not fire — void.

And then—

The walls themselves moved.

Mosaic images shimmered across the stone.
Like memory carved into reality.

Jungkook saw himself — but not as a priest.

> A divine being, crowned in light and dressed in robes darker than night.
Fire in his hands. Gold in his eyes.
And beside him — a boy made of stars.

Taehyung.

But not this version of him.
A celestial form, bright and terrifying.

Together, they stood over a ruined battlefield.

Together, they had defied the heavens.

---

Taehyung’s breath hitched.

“That’s… us?”

The being’s voice came low:

> “You two weren’t just sinners.”
“You were the first.”

---

Suddenly it all made sense.
The curse. The lifetimes. The ache in Jungkook’s chest he could never name.

He hadn’t just fallen in love with Taehyung—

He had fallen because of him.

---

Jungkook staggered back. “Why show me this now?”

> “Because you’re waking up.”

> “And the longer you stay with him,
the faster the seal breaks.”

Taehyung stepped forward now, eyes blazing.

“Then let it break.”

> “Let it all fall down again.”

---

The figure smiled.

> “Ah. There it is. The rebellion in your blood.”

> “But here’s the question…”
“Now that you know who you are—”
“Do you still love him?”

The room held its breath.

So did Taehyung.

Jungkook looked at him — saw everything:

The lifetimes.
The pain.
The loss.
The stubborn love that never died.

And he said, without hesitation:

> “Yes.”

---

Then the being said nothing.

Only stepped backward—

And vanished into the Crimson Door.

But before it closed, it left one final echo:

> “Very well.”
“Then choose him… again.”
“But know this—”

> “If you do… Heaven won’t be the one hunting you next time.”

> “It will be us.”

---

The door sealed with a hiss.

Jungkook and Taehyung were left alone in the dark.

And for the first time in centuries,

Jungkook knew who he was.

And who he would burn the world for.
