Chapter 15: Progress

Start from the beginning

"Of course I want you around, BooBear! Everyone does. We missed you so much when you left and the fact that we got you back made us so happy. But then we didn't get you back because you never left your room. Just because Harry ended up abandoning you, doesn't mean we did," she says half shocked half heartbroken. "We will always be here for you, Lou. Don't ever forget that."

I nod my head and wrap my arms around her. We sit there hugging each other and crying until we both settle down. I lean back over in my seat and grab a tissue for both of us to dry our faces.

"So will you please go see Dr. Swift again?" She asks me, looking at me with saddened eyes. I nod my head slowly. A wave of relief washes over her face and a slight grin graces her mouth.

I guess seeing this therapist couldn't be too bad if mum is this upset about it. And apparently they actually want me to be her. I had no clue they felt that way. If going to the therapist makes them happy then I will do it. Seeing as how I can't be happy anymore now that Harry's gone, I might as well try and make them happy.

~~~August 15th, one week later~~~
~~Harry's POV~~
"Harold Edward Styles! Wake up this instant! You are going to be late for your appointment again!" Liam says shaking my body. About five minutes ago he hopped on and straddled me and hasn't stopped yelling at me since.
"Okay, okay," I say pushing him off of me. He rolls to the other side of the bed and giggles. I point at the door with and angered expression and he bolts towards it.
"Appointment in forty five minute, Haz! You better be ready," he says before closing the door. I hear his footsteps echo down the hallway and once I know he's not coming back, I get out of bed.
I head into the bathroom and turn the shower on. While waiting for the water to warm up I take off my clothes and throw (and miss) them into the hamper. I step into the shower and shiver as the cold air and the warm water take turns brushing against my body.
As quickly as possible I wash my hair and body. I decide to shave since I haven't in a while and reach for the razor. As I pick it up at falls out of my hand and I attempt to catch it. My hand however grabs the blades and the razor cuts my fingers in multiple areas. Instead of enjoying the feeling like I usually do, I immediately panic and rush to wash the blood away; trying to get it to stop.
Luckily the cuts aren't bad and they clot after a few minutes. I decide to skip the shaving today and carefully place the razor back on the rack. I let me body revel in the warm water for a couple extra minutes before turning it off and stepping out. I dance through the cold air over to the linen closet and get a new towel. I dry off and sigh with the instant warmness my body receives from being dry once again.
I continue dancing into my room and to the closet. Deciding to dress down today, I throw on a pair of sweatpants and a jumper. I grab my phone from my nightstand and place it in my pocket. I also take my keys and wallet and put it in the opposite pocket.
Satisfied with my look, I leave my room and head to the living room where everyone is waiting patiently. They look at me slightly angry and spring out of their seats.
"Are you ever on time?" Eleanor asks looking flustered, "I swear you'll be late to your own wedding. Let's go!" She says ushering us all out the door. We head down to the cars and split up like we did last week.
After a short, familiar drive we are parked in front of the doctor's office. With a little excitement, I climb out of the car and rush the others to do the same. I walk ahead of them to the door and hold it open as they slowly but surely make it into the building. They all look at me confused about my zealousness.
