It has been months now since Harry had overheard Mrs.Figgs talking about him and since he first took a visit to Diagon Alley. A lot has happened in these last few months since he took the potions, which led to him growing in both weight and height. Harry could not be considered one of the taller kids in his age group, standing at 5'3. As he grew in height, so did Dursley's abuse get worse, leaving behind more scars than before. Aside from Harry growing in height, weight, and scars, Harry was also growing in magic and intellect. Every day, Harry had taken time out of his day to work on his occlumency, strengthening it. Another thing worked on over the last few months was reading all the books he could about the magical world. Over the last few months, Harry has been reading the books he got the first time around, he continues to collect money in Muggle the way he usually did, he has been consistent with his workouts each day even when the Dursleys tried to prevent him, and Harry also made more trips to Diagon Alley under his disguise.

Each time he went, he would always do a bit of shopping each time it was something different. On his second trip to Diagon Alley, Harry had made sure to ask a Gringotts bank for information on their services, which led to him getting a book that gave details about what he should know about Gringott's services. Now, after months, today was the day he would finally get his Hogwarts letter. The Dursleys do not know that he knows of magic or about his trips to Diagon Alley. Then again, they don't know much about him. If they did, they would know about him drinking since he was 9 or about how he has been smoking for a year now. Another thing that the Dursleys did not know was that Harry had been collecting things from the attic that they did not know about, that he would be taking with him, since they would not miss them anyway. Another thing that happened in the last few months was that the soul within Harry's scar had been absorbed by him, not that he knew it.

It was early morning when Harry woke up and right after waking up, he grabbed some clothes and apparated to the bathroom. When he got to the bathroom, he took a quick shower and got dressed for the day. After getting dressed, Harry apparated back downstairs outside his cupboard. When he landed back outside his cupboard, Harry unlocked it before grabbing the magical satchel he had bought in the past during one of his trips. After shouldering his satchel bag, Harry goes to the door, picking up the mail that went through the mail slot. Shuffling through it, Harry found the letter he was searching for. He saw his Hogwarts letter, which was addressed to his cupboard, which made him angry since it meant that they knew where he slept. Harry knew what accentually what was in the letter, but still opened it anyway so he could read the list. However, before he read the list, he read his acceptance letter.
