A Warning

❝Oh my, are you okay?❞

AFTER RYOBU ESCORTED you to your home, he went back to his normally empty house. His parents as usual were out, but that didn't bother him. The boy was beyond happy to be upset about his parents' absence.

He got to go home with you and talk to you about your interest, you even smiled and giggled whenever Ryobu said something funny. This was the best day of his life. He got you to reject his rival and accompany you on the way back. He was glad that you had forgotten about Kaguya and were back to your cheerful self. Ryobu made his way to his bedroom and locked the door. He threw himself on the bed and pulled out the butterfly hairpiece you gave to Sumire from under his pillow, he always kept it there for safety and to feel like you were close to him.

The yandere put the hairpiece on his chest, feeling his heart beating fast, "My beautiful butterfly... You're so precious." Ryobu mumbled while blushing deeply. There were imaginary hearts in his gray eyes, imagining his future with you. Getting married, having children and growing up together, it was the only dream he wanted to make true. It was just like how his father told him... Finding the one true love and he will feel again. Ryobu would no longer need to pretend and fake his emotions. However, he knew that there were others who wanted you like Sumire and Kaguya. Ryobu knew this won't be the final rival he would deal with. Despite everything, he still hoped that there won't be anymore rivals to stop in his way.

"No matter what will happen, no matter who comes between us, you will be mine... my beautiful butterfly."

That was a vow Ryobu made, he didn't care what he would do. As long as he would have you in the end, the sacrifices weren't important to him.

The next morning, you and Shinobu arrived to school and you went to your class. Like usual, you found a love note and a gift box. You were very curious about this secret admirer of yours, "I wonder who is putting those gifts for me... I hope they're not bothering themselves everyday to get me gifts." You thought, feeling a bit bad that someone was spending their money to get you gifts.

You put away the gift and the note and decided to go check the clubs. You wanted to participate in any available clubs so that you could improve your skills. During your walk through the hallways, a lot of students greeted you... even Kaguya who you had rejected waved at you.

You were just glad that there won't be any awkwardness between you two.

You checked most of the clubs, but none of them picked your interest. The last club you went to was the Gardening Club. You saw the leader whose name was Gota Kushida, you were told that he was polite and nice. Upon reaching the Gardening Club, you gasped softly as you saw the beautiful garden. You saw the club leader who had brunette hair with dark green eyes and approached him, "Good morning, Kushida senpai." You greeted him politely, waving your hand a lightly.

Gota looked at you and smiled, "Good morning, Kocho chan. It's good to see you, what brings you here?"

"Well, I'm interested in your club and I wanted to know more about it."

The brunette male smiled and nodded his head, "This is the gardening club! Everyone here loves planting flowers! You'll usually see us tending to our garden here or watering the plants around school. If you join our club, you'll get access to our supply shed! Oh, but there's some dangerous stuff in there, so be careful." Gota explained to you about their daily routine and club activities.

You didn't focus much on the fact that there was dangerous things there, but you liked that they water the plants around the school and plant flowers. You love flowers and tending to them, so you finally made your decision, "This sounds so interesting, I would really like to be part of this club." You stated with a bright smile on his face. Gota's eyes lit up when you said that you wanted to join, "Oh! Would you like to join us?" He asked you as if he wanted confirmation from you.

You nodded your head and Geto beamed, "Great! We're so happy to have you with us, welcome to the Gardening Club. The activities start between 5 and 5:30, we can't wait to see again later." The leader enthusiastically told you, feeling glad that one of the good students was a part of his club. Well, at least you were going to have some fun in the club.

-TIME SKIP-

You made your way out of the school after enjoying your first activity in the Gardening Club. Unfortunately, Shinobu had to stay a bit late to clean the club. Something about spilling some dangerous chemicals on the ground caught the club members up.

You waited outside the school gate for your sister which gave a certain someone an opportunity to finally talk to you. A man in a trench coat approached you, looking all serious, "Good evening, miss." The man spoke up, his voice deep and gruff. This guy gave you some strange vibes that you couldn't trust him, "Good evening, sir. How can I help you?" You asked him, trying to remain composed and polite.

"I know this might sound strange, but I came to warn you."

"Warn me? About what?"

The man sighed deeply and looked at the school, "That boy with black hair, the one who went home with you yesterday, be careful around him and -if possible- stay away with him." He appeared very serious when he said that. Was he talking about Ryobu?

"Why?"

"He is dangerous and might hurt you." He pointed out which puzzled you more. Seeing your confusion, the journalist sighed, "You will know when the truth is revealed. For now, just stay away from him." With that being said, he turned around and left, leaving you with more questions.

What did he mean by when the truth is revealed? Was Ryobu for real someone bad and you should stay away from him?

As you were deep in thought, you felt a hand waving in front of your face. You snapped out of your thoughts and saw who was with you, "Oh, Shinobu. I didn't see you coming." You uttered with a small smile. Shinobu could notice something odd about your behavior and raised an eyebrow, "I called you so many times, but you seemed to be deep in thought. Is something bothering you?" Your sister asked you, feeling worried about you.

You giggled and shook your head, "It's nothing, I'm just tired because of the club activities. Let's get going."

"Hmm... Alright then."

You and Shinobu left the school to go home, but your mind was preoccupied with so many unanswered questions. Should you take that man's warning seriously?

Should you really stay away from Ryobu?
