Chapter 23:The Ultimate Curse,Memento Mori

"Gray..."Natsu muttered.

"Your marks...it's..."you mutter looking at him.

"Impossible"Mard murmurs in disbelief."Half of his body's been demonized is that Silver's power!?You survived my Ultimate Curse!?"Mard exclaims in disbelief.

"To...make...way for the future...all...I can do now is...believe in the two of you...Natsu,Y/N"Gray murmured as he collapsed.

"Gray"you and Natsu say together.

"How dare you!"Mard yells as he becomes his Etherious form once again.

"Gray!!!"you and Natsu exclaimed.

Mard was coming for you and Natsu and you noticed something on his face,were they...scales?All of a sudden he punched Mard in the face making him fly into a wall,Natsu ran after him and you just stood there...shocked at the sudden boost of his power.Then,you snapped back into reality.

"Dammit!I can't let you kick Mard's ass before I do!"you yelled as you ran after Natsu and Mard.

When you got there Natsu all you could hear was Natsu's loud voice ringing in your ears,and he was yelling:

"Crimson Lotus Phoenix Sword!"Natsu yelled as you saw a flurry of flames in the sky.

Natsu was looking down while still in the air and Mard was in the air,you expected Mard to have been defeated but he was still alright while Natsu,was the complete opposite.

"This isn't over yet!"Mard screeched."I'll destroy every bit of flesh on you!"

"Unbelievable,my magic's 0 and your still..."Natsu began before Mard cut him off.

"Disappear!"he yelled.

"But,I too believe in...Gray!"Natsu yelled.

You noticed Gray was up and there was some sort of bow on his hands,you decided to lend your fellow Demon Slayer a hand and you looked up in the air.

"Fire Devil's Blazing Arrow!","Ice Devil's Zeroth Destruction Bow!"you and Gray yelled together.

Gray shot a single massive ice arrow and you controlled your fire so that it surrounded the massive ice arrow,it turned into an ice arrow encased by fire.It pierced Mard and the three of you smiled.Natsu and Mard fell to the ground and you walked over to where they were and you looked at Gray.

"We did it..."Natsu weakly muttered.

"Yeah,it's over we defeated Mard Geer"you say with a weak smile as you let the marks on your body disappear.

"It's not over,not until I destroy E.N.D"Gray said.

"Oh yeah!That book!"Natsu exclaimed."Igneel asked me to take it to him!"

"I said,i'm destroying him"Gray growled.

"Cut the crap!"Natsu shouted.

"Now who's the one screwing around?This thing made Tartaros...and it's one of the strongest demons in Zeref's book along with Y/N...all the more reason we have to get rid of it,don't you think?"Gray asked as he held up the book.

"I promised Igneel...gimme the book!"Natsu demanded.

"No"Gray said sternly.

"Wait a second...guys...what is this?"you asked the two as they stopped arguing.

"It can't be...Face"Natsu murmured in disbelief.

"This is only the beginning...the disapperance of magic will eventually become 'emptiness' and E.N.D and you,Y/N shall resurrect and feed off of the energy...and when the two strongest Etherious rises,you humans no longer have those defenses that you call 'magic'"Mard said with a grin.

"Crap..."you cursed.

All of a sudden a massive black dragon with blue tattoos on it's body crashed onto the ground right in front of our eyes.

"Acnologia..."Gray muttered.

Out of nowhere,another dragon came crashing down on top of Acnologia,it was a blood red dragon with several scars on it's body.

"Don't give up,humans!"the dragon yelled.

"Impossible...I can feel,Weisslogia"Sting said in disbelief.

"Skiadrum too"Rogue added.

"The dragons that you've freed...are dancing in the skies of Ishgar!"the red dragon yelled.

"Neat!"Natsu exclaimed with a grin.

"We've stopped E.N.D and Y/N's resurrections..."the red dragon said with a grin.

"Defeated..."Mard murmured.

"Weisslogia's still...alive?"Sting asked in disbelief.

"So is Skiadrum,Metalicana,and Grandeeney...we've all been inside you Dragon Slayers or more like we've been asleep inside you due to a sealing spell"the red dragon responded.

"And...the trigger was the throbbing we felt just now"Rogue murmured.

"I didn't hear about that!Why the hell were you in me,I don't remember eating you!!!"Natsu yelled stupidly.

"There were reasons for that...first would be so that we could stop you from turning into dragons like Achnologia...and the second"the red dragon began but he paused because the dragon beneath him flew upwards and the two dragons took to the sky again.

"Igneel~!"Natsu yelled.

"We'll talk after I deal with him!Get the book!"the dragon called Igneel shouted.

"Book?"Sting asked.

"Probably this thing,the book of E.N.D"Gray responded.

"Gray..."Natsu growled.

"I made a promise that i'd defeat E.N.D and..."Gray began.

"Oh for God's sake the two of you cut it out!You fought frikin' Mard Geer and your gonna start up again!?"you yelled.

"This is why you Fairy Tail people are always.."Rogue began but out of nowhere the book disappeared.

"It's gone!"Gray exclaimed.

"Gray!!!"Natsu growled.

"It isn't me!"Gray shouted.

"This book belongs to me...so i'm taking it back...it's really important you know"...

"Z-Zeref..."
