Laura's point of view.
I'm still well, how do you know what to feel in these types of situations?
I feel sort out of place like a long lost puppy. It's typically cruel how we as humans rely on friends as much as we do now days. I feel a little bit shaken and confused most of all. It happens to most people. Betrayal itself. Everybody always wants quaintly over quality when it comes to friendships. There we're only three us. Look where it got me. Who is the one that gives the knife to stab people in the back anyway? Maybe I would be better off on my own, but then again nobody ever truly needs to be alone.
They may want to be alone , but the need of time to be alone is few and far between. I just raise my books up upon my chest and wander through the hallways of my school with head down glancing from the floor to mid air.
You know that feeling when you miss a step on the stairs and you feel as if you are going to fall to your doom?
Being the clumsy person that I am, I feel it all the time all I can do it brace myself for the fall, but in that spilt moment I manage to make it even more awkward.
I fall into someone."Watch where you are going, small thing." I heard.
I looked up and the first thing I saw,was lush blonde hair then dark shades? Who's fall en into their stereotype now? Just another ignorant , shady bad boy.
"No, excuse yourself, will you?"
I say biting my tongue.
"Excuse me?" You must be mistaken. I'm Ross Lynch." Way to take the mystery out of it.
"So, how does that apply to me? I have to go to class now." I say as I shrug pass the rude boy and scurry off to chemistry. This is it. The last period. I can do this.
I act like it's some type dual survival because in a way it is. However, to my surprise mystery guy sitting front row and center right beside my seat. It wasn't assigned, but everyone knew it was mine. My eyes locked with hazel orb like ones and decided to suck it up and sit down. He smirked. A dimple popping out on the side. Kinda cute. "Ms. Marano, I just assigned you a partner can you tell me who it is?" The teacher asked. If you wanted to know what my face looked like, a deer from Bambi when he first fell down. Yeah.. mystery guy I knew from the looks I getting. I rather not utter his name just yet.
Then... as the teacher raised an eyebrow at me the bell rang and I ran to my locker. The first one out the door. I was sure someone followed.
I grabbed my books and stopped dead in my tracks. My phone. Oh no. My flip phone.. no. No. No.
"Hey!" "Give that back!" Ross has my phone. "Relax , small thing just thought you might want to chat later on. "He step away exciting the school not forgetting to hand my phone back.
"I see now why they call him mystery guy."...........
