It was late. Way too late for Malachi to have a visitor over, but something felt... off. You were sneaking a glass of water when you heard giggles coming from his room.

Curiosity (and a little mischief) got the better of you. You peeked in—and your jaw dropped.

Malachi. On his bed. With a girl. Not just sitting, but laughing, tangled in blankets like she had no intention of leaving anytime soon.

You swallowed your gasp and held your phone like a weapon.

"Ohhh, Malachi Barton," you said, stepping into the room. "Mom's gonna love this."

He whipped around, face red as fire. "Y/N! WHAT are you doing?!"

"Checking on my brother," you said sweetly, phone already recording. "And... I found something interesting."

The girl froze, realizing she wasn't supposed to be there. Malachi leaped up, trying to cover her with a pillow. "Don't you dare—"

"—snitch? Pfft, too late!" you interrupted, sprinting down the hall. "MOM! Malachi has a GIRL in his room!"

"Y/N!" he yelled, chasing after you. "I swear, you are evil! This is NOT funny!"

Felicia came storming out from the kitchen, confusion turning instantly to horror. "WHAT is going on?!"

You pointed dramatically. "He's breaking the no-guest rule. Look!" You played the video on your phone as Felicia's eyes widened.

Malachi tried to explain, stumbling over words. "Mom, it's not what it looks like! I swear!"

"Oh really?" Felicia snapped, arms crossed. "Because it looks exactly like a GIRL sleepover in MY house when I told you NO guests after 10 PM!"

"I—" Malachi stammered. "Y/N tricked me! She—"

"You set me up!" you yelled back. "I just... exposed the truth!"

Felicia pinched the bridge of her nose. "Malachi Daniel Barton, you are grounded for two weeks. And Y/N, I swear, you're enjoying this far too much."

"I am," you said proudly, smirking at Malachi as he sank onto his bed, defeated.

He muttered, glaring at you. "One day... one day, I'm getting you back."

You winked. "Can't wait, big bro."
