Hey, hi, hello there! Versace Versace what's poppin' guys?
Let me introduce myself first!
I'm Hafsa... But the DB DEEWANIS call me 'Haffu' and 'Haffy'!
Indian Hyderabadi by origin, born in Saudi, raised in Dubai, and now living in Chicago!
20 years old, studying architecture...but hoping to be a full time youtuber one day!

So now that I've introduced myself, LEMME tell you how I became a DB deewani!

I have this very close friend from London who's name I won't say but let's just call her 'Liba' (if you're reading this, you know who you are)
Both of us being DB lovers, we were talking about DB one day on snapchat when she causally mentioned to me about this group on Kik that was full of DB lovers. Since she had recently joined that group, she asked me if I wanted to join too and I instantly agreed.
I was overwhelmed to talk to so many different girls from around the world who shared the same feelings as I had for DB!
The day after I joined that group, a girl 'Safa' whom I call 'safiiiiii' mentioned about a Whatsapp group and asked EVEVRYONE who wanted to be a part of it to message her their numbers. I was skeptical at first because I didn't want to give my phone number to a bunch of girls whom I had never met before. But After a lot of thinking, I finally said 'Bismillah' and messaged Safiii my number...to get added into a group and by far that has been the best decision of my life!

Little did I know that these girls would day become my life!

I was one of the first few members a of the group!
That was the beginning of a new journey for me. Getting only 2-3 hours of sleep, I would have my eyes glued two my phone during classes, at home, in the bathroom, while eating, in rahe bed, and even while doing my homework!
The group would never keep quiet, and my phone would always keep buzzing.....considering the fact that it has people from all over the world!
It was very difficult for me at first to remember everyone's names or where they're from, but soon it felt like I had known them since bachpan! 😂
All those crazy singing sessions, fake fights, drama, pranks oh my god I can't even tell you how lucky I am to be a part of this family!
At first I used to feel awkward cause I was the oldest member of the group! But then came Mano and Isha....my age partners...and then Tani and Bia Api who are older to me!
How many if you remember that time when we called.....'someone' on the phone....or rather...tried calling lol! Our hearts were on a roller coaster ride that day!

The name of our group was never constant! At a point we even called it the '33 namooney' 😂😂😂 cause each of us are a namooney....one of a kind!

And then came the DB's first radio show...where I called in and told DB to say hi to our group! When they asked what's the group name...I was going to say '33 Namooney' but then k thought that would be awkward...and ended up saying 'DB DEEWANIS' ❤️❤️ I'm glad I said that name because that is what defines us now.
And that is how our group got its identity 'DB DEEWANIS'

I haven't been able to talk to everyone a lot in the last month cause I've been so busy with all the weddings and everything, but trust me guys I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU DB DEEWANI!

I swear I thank Allah everyday for giving me this beautiful family! ❤️

I'm not such a crazy DB fangirl anymore.... (Like I used to be in the beginning when I joined the group) but I will always remain thankful to DB for giving me such a wonderful, amazing, and loving family! And don't worry I was...I am...and I will always remain a Dhoomie.... until I die! ❤️ I PROMISE!
(Just not the "OMG I wanna marry him" kind lol...if that made sense)

Now before I start crying...Imma leave but guys I promise you within 1 week I will be back to how I used to be in the group since the wedding will be over!!!!
