My eyes widen as I try to pull out my finger yet all it does is dig deeper.
Her breath quickens as deep gasps wretches out of her, tears running down her eyes. My heart tears at the sight in front of me, no she is going to be okay.
“What the hell is going on here?” A familiar voice rings through the room, causing me to stumble back as much as I could.
My head snaps back to meet her deep blue ones, her lips curled up into a sly smile as she sweeps her regalia back.

“What happened to her?” She gasps moving forward, eyes widening taking in Zara almost lifeless body.
“I don't know, some men just shot down the house and she ran out to stop them.” I try to explain my head going in spirals.
It doesn't make any sense, who are those guys?
“What did they shoot her with?” She asks, fingers laced around the tip of her shirt then in a blink rip the entire material off.
“Oh no! It can't be.” She gasps, eyes widening as thick dark veins match up her neck moving slowly towards her eyes.
“We have to stop this now or she will die.” Mel grunts, without moving she snaps her finger causing a slim knife to appear.
“What are you–” my words are lost as she swipes the knife directly over her neck causing a sharp sound to ring out.
My mouth drops open, blood flaring up. Black thick blood spurts out of her neck pumping down her neck.
“WHAT THE FUCK!!!” Asher screams out, his eyes literally bulging out of his socket.
Cyril seems bombstacked just standing there with his eyes wide open, Weylenn falls flat on her ass, a loud scream tearing out of her lips.
“Get them out of here” Mel whips, not evening turning her head.
Sky and Tios who I didn't even notice moves forward, and escorts them out whispering things to them as they go.
“What are you doing Mel?” I want to know exactly what is happening.
“The poison has to be pulled out and the only way to do that is to break her skin. That way it can’t travel through her veins anymore.” She explains, pulling out some herbs as she sets to work.
Slowly the grip of her skin loosens on my finger as I pull it out.
Seconds turn into minutes, minutes into hours as I stand there watching her tend to Zara. But if there is one thing I am sure of is that she will be okay.

Sharp pain sizzles through my body as a deep groan wretches out of my throat. The banging in my head feels like a train went through my brain.
What the fuck happened?
Like a wave the entire memory of what happened slams into me at once causing me to literally move with so much speed off where I am laying.
“Ahh!” I gasps the consequence of that action slamming into me immediately.
“Calm down Z” an all too familiar voice says.
I know that voice, way too much. I slowly pry my eyes open only to land on those beautiful blue orbs, her black shining hair flowing down to her neck.
Her lips crack into a small smile as she moves her hand up in a wave.
