Shake It Up! (Gon x OC)

(3rd POV)

Sumiko rushed outside into the forest, knowing that Gon came in and never came out.

"Goon!!" she yelled. "I made my dish and I want you to test it! Gooon!" She walked far enough to hear faint sobbing, that was quickly dying down. She soon found Gon.

"Gon?" she questioned, looking at his back. Gon wiped his eyes to put on a fake grin.

"Oh hey Sumi-chan! What did you need?" Sumi smiled back (which made Gon's heart flutter), giving Gon a small plate of meat with a honey-like sauce on it.

"I finished my dish and I wanted you to try it..." she said, slightly blushing and looking at the ground. (JEEZ they are SO CUTE)

Gon let out an 'ah' sound and took the small plate and used the little toothpick that was on the side of the plate to sick the little piece into his mouth.

"Yum! It's good!"

"Really?" Sumi asked.

"Yeah! You would make a good wife!" Gone said, smiling at her.

"W-Wife?" Simi asked, heating up. Gone quickly realized what he said and turned red too.

"I-I mean if you were to ever marry someone, I mean you don't have to marry someone like me, I MEAN YOU DON'T HAVE TO MARRY ME, NOT THAT I'M IMPLYING THAT WE SHOULD-" Gon continued rambling as Sumiko started to get hotter and hotter by the second.

"Let's just go..." she mumbled pulling him by the hand. Gon stopped talking and followed let himself led to the exam site.

By the time they got there, the red tomato look on their faces reduced to a dusty blush. Sumi and Gon silently parted ways, not wanting to talk after what happened in the forest.

Sumi walked up to Budahara and Menshi, presenting her dish. Budahara quickly gulped it down. "Delicious!~"

Menshi gave it a skeptical look before bitting into a piece. "It's okay... Your cuts were sloppy and you added too much sugar to the honey sauce. You didn't focus, therefore I can't pass this dish."

Sumiko wasn't listening though. She was daydreaming of Gon coming home from a hard day of work as Sumi stirred some soup on the stove, children laughing and playing in the living room.

"Oi! Are you listening?!" Sumiko snapped back to reality. "Uh, y-yah!" she said, saluting. "Thank you for you expert review!" Sumi said, running back to her station. 'D-did I pass? I don't know! I wasn't listening!'

"She wasn't listening at all you know." Budahara said. "I know that!" Menchi snapped.

Sumiko, not knowing what to do, walked over to Kurapika's station to see what he was doing. She was thoroughly disgusted as she watched him put spices that did not match whatsoever together on the pig. It looked delicious, but only Sumiko knew what it would taste like.

Kurapika put it on a plate and walked up to Menchi. "W-wait, don't give her that-" Too late. Menchi had thrown it across the exam site. Sumiko watched as Menchi gave him a good scolding.

"Thyme and salt do not mix..." Sumi said to herself as she passed out in shock.
