Behind the nerdy appearance

Finally!! The bell is about to ring in 3 seconds!!! *ding!* yes!!! Finally!! I hurry out of class and to my locker, shoving things into my bag. Stupid teachers have to give you homework! 

Normally I wouldn't complain but I had plans today!! I'm totally not my shy and nerdy character today but hey! Sometimes you just gotta take a break.

I shut my locker, slung my back pack strap up on my shoulder and turned on my phone while walking out of the school. Ikuto fell into step beside. "Still coming over?" He asked.

I looked up at him. "Yeah..." As we walked I got multiple glares of envious girls as me and Ikuto walked out together. No wonder people thought we were dating!!

We do everything together ever since he found out my secret!!! I fluttered my eyes up to Ikuto for a second. He was pretty popular with his looks and all the intimate stuff, speaking from first hand experience...

Could it possibly be that I, myself, have fallen in love with Ikuto?? Considering the circumstances any normal girl would be head over heels for him at this point; clinging to him like a lost puppy looking for attention. Maybe that's why he stays?

I'm thinking way to much into this!!! This is absurd! Me be in love with Ikuto?! He hangs around me because I don't cling to him like a lost puppy! "Something wrong?"

I come out of my thoughts and look up at Ikuto. He laughed, giving me a smirk. "You've been staring at me for like 5 minutes. Is something wrong?" I blushed realizing he was absolutely right! I had been staring at him this entire time!!

I looked away and blushed even more. "Sorry! I was just lost in thought!" He chuckled. "No! I thought it was cute!!" He gave me a half smirk before opening the doors and letting me pass through. I walked through and he followed after me.

I should probably call mom and tell her I won't be able to pick up Ami. I pulled out my phone and dialed my moms number. "Amu?" She asked. "Hey mom, I'm kind of gonna go hang out with some friends would it be alright if you pick up Ami for me?"

"I guess, have fun honey but be home by 8:00!" "Thanks love you!!" I hung up and Ikuto gave me a smirk. "So what are we going to do after school?" I asked. He sighed heavily and shrugged. "We normally just hang out, you know, like watch movies or talk or something."

I blushed. "Well I've never been to one of these things!" I exclaimed. He laughed and put his arm around my shoulder and I looked up at him surprised. He smirked. "I'll help you." I blushed and we saw the others standing out front.

We got over there and Utau smiled. "Good! Everyone's here lets get going then." Before we could go Rima spoke up. "Hey Amu how come Ikuto's arms around you?" I blushed remembering his arm was still slung around my shoulders.

I stepped away from him quickly and blushed while scratching my back of my head as everyone's eyes turned to me and Ikuto. "Uh.... I didn't know it was t-there!" I lie. It stays silent for a second before kairi shrugged. "Let's get going then."

I thanked my lucky stars for no more comments on the matter. Ikuto came back up beside me and smirked. "What's the matter? You don't like being close in public like this?" He suddenly grabbed my hand.

His fingers locked onto mine as he laced his fingers through mine. I blushed and tried yanking my hand away but Ikuto was having non of it! "L-let go!!" I panicked. He squeezed my hand tighter. "Nope."

My jaw dropped and I pulled on my hand but his came with. "Ikutoooo!!!" I whined as I yanked and yanked but it didn't do a bit of good. He kept his iron grip on me with his ever lasting smile. I huffed and gave up.
