Getting Played

Casual, not fancy but casual...

"I don't know what I'm gonna do." I huffed out and fell down on my bed. "We'll find something, don't worry Kali." Lauren reassured.

I had asked Lauren and Reagan to come over to my house to help me get ready for my date, although I didn't tell them who was bringing me on the date.

"So when are you gonna tell us who you're going on a date with?" Reagan asked letting a curl loose from her wand. "I said I wasn't gonna tell you until I know if I want to be with him or not." I shrugged.

"Aha! So it's a guy!" Reagan yelled. I opened my mouth in shock and grabbed a tube of lipstick and threw it at her. "Of course it's a guy!" I yelled.

Reagan held her hands up in surrender. "Sorry, I mean you never know." She shrugged.

Lauren came running out of my closet with a huge grin on her face. "I know what you can wear!" She yelled in excitement. "What!" Reagan and I yelled in excitement. We had been looking for something I could wear for 40 minutes and nothing stood out to us, so this really was exciting news.

Lauren ran back into my closet to grab the outfit. She came back out holding a pair of white jean capris, a purple tank top that flowed out around my belly button and a black leather jacket.

It wasn't too casual or too fancy, it was perfect.

"It's perfect! Thank you Lauren." I smiled. Reagan had finally finished my hair, she had curled it and styled it into a waterfall braid.

We had already done my make up, so now all I had to do was get changed. I grabbed the outfit from Lauren and made my way into the bathroom to change.

I slipped the jeans on and looked in the mirror. They were slightly tight but not too tight, it complimented my figure very nicely. I pulled the tank top on over my head and slipped the jacket on slowly- making sure not to ruin my hair.

I took a look over myself in the mirror and smiled. Lauren and Reagan really did a good job. I grabbed my clothes and threw them into my hamper before walking out into my room.

"So what do you guys think?" I asked spinning around a bit. "Aw Kali! You look amazing." Reagan squealed and ran over to give me a light hug, making sure not to ruin her masterpiece. "You really do Kali." Lauren smiled.

"Thanks guys, you really saved my ass." I laughed. "Anytime Kali, anytime." Lauren laughed.

I looked over at my watch and saw that it was 3:40. "Well thank you girls so much but my date will be here soon so I need you guys to skedaddle." I giggled.

They both sighed and nodded their heads.

Reagan and Lauren both grabbed their stuff and walked downstairs. I walked them out to their cars and said goodbye. Once I was sure they actually left I walked back into my house and got my stuff ready.

I grabbed my phone and slid it into the back pocket of my jeans and threw my wallet and necessary essentials into my purse and headed down the stairs. It was exactly 4 o'clock so Nathan would be here any minute.

Knock knock

I got up off of the couch and walked towards the door. I opened it up and saw Nathan standing there holding a single rose.
