"We come into the lives of others to leave a mark, we just hope there are the good one."
#Geekyqueeen"I got it mom." Jordan said as he grabbed his skating board and ran downstairs.
"I made breakfast." Sarah announced in a sing a song tone as she spotted Jordan running down the stairs.
"Hey mom" he came and kissed her cheek and grabbed a cookie from the plate, dipping it into the cup of creamed milk on the table.
Sarah smacked his hand and he yelp in surprise looking at her in confusion. "What did I do?"
She raised and eyebrow at her son "Hand. Dirty." She scolded.
Jordan playfully rolled his eyes, as his mom kept frowing. "Common mom, you love my bad habit!"
"I would not smack you if I love your bad habit Jordan."
Contrary to her claims Jordan knew she did, because he was all she had and Jordan knew that too.
Jordan dad died five years ago in a car crash and for the past years his mom Sarah has been the one sholdering all the burden that come across the family's way.
His father death came as a shock to the both of them, but that didn't stop Sarah from taking responsibility as she had to take up three job in order to support her son and keep the house running.
Jordan isn't left out as he does his best in every way possible and support Sarah. In the last few years they have build a stronger and healthier relationship and Jordan was grateful that his mom made it through the heartbreak of losing dad.
"Okay mom I'm sorry." He said, with a puppy dog look and it was Sarah turn to roll her eyes.
"Stay, let's eat." Sarah said, taking up a bowl of water from the table.
He collected the bowl from her hand, before looking up to the clock "Oh shit Mom I'm gonna go late to school if I eat now." He said, grabbing his bag which was on the chair where he left it the previous day.
"It's still thirty more minute before eight Jor your skateboard would take you there in ten."
"Yes it would, but my skateboard is old and if I don't use it with caution, it gonna break down and then I'd be walking all the way to school." He explained, showing her the panel close to flat face, but she didn't understand what he was saying.
"Okay, okay then take some cookies with you, I don't want you starving 'cause you've been shrinking lately."
"It's not shrinking mom, it's called working out." Jordan corrected.
Sarah always saw his loss of weight as a bad thing and always worry that Jordan might end up sick.
"Whatever. You use to be a big and beautiful boy, now you're all small, but you're still beautiful."Jordan grinned, "Mom that's the reason it's called working out to loose weight, and I need the albs to keep my girlfriend." He said with a mischievous smirk.
Jordan had a tough time growing up as his classmates and sometimes friends mocked him for his size, calling him names like the mighty Joe, incredible hulk, and fat Jordan.
