As soon as we got in the car he said "I can't believe that they had the guts show up with me standing right there!"
I was nervous. I wanted to know what was going on.

"Tommy-."
"Your grandma will explain it to you."
I nodded and said nothing. My surprise was canceled.

We pulled up to my house and I noticed the lights were off. Something was wrong here. Tommy felt it too because he said "Lunetta-."
I jumped out the car and ran inside. The front door was open and I zoomed past the kitchen. I was in the front room before Tommy could even climb out the car.

"Lunetta-!"
I screamed once I saw what was waiting for me in the den.

"Lunetta!"

Tommy ran in and said "Lunetta! Close your eyes."

He turned me away from the bloody scene and pulled me to his chest. I felt tears fall down my face and he said "Come on."
I let him direct me to the car and I said nothing. I had seen the remains of my grandmothers body thrown around the perfectly cream colored den with blood splashed everywhere. What ever we were dealing with...wasn't to be a week long thing.

"Lunetta babe, say something."
I couldn't make myself say anything.

"Lunetta-."
"W-What's going on?"
"I'll explain when we're safe."
We drove for hours with nothing to stop us. When we pulled up to a mansion. I was in to much shock to move.

"Come on princess. Let's get inside."
He picked me up and ran to the top of the stairs. We sat on the couch and I heard "Oh. Mister Kenjoe. Your back so soon?"
"Yes."
I blinked and said "Kenjoe? That name sounds fimiler."
I looked at them and said "It's starting to make sence now."
"What-?"
"It's this key isn't it. This stupid key is the reason why things are going to horribly today!"
I took the key off and without a second thought I went to throw it but some one caught it.

"Hey. Don't do that."
"I don't want it! My only relitive is dead because of it!"
"Lunetta honey...come sit down."
"No!"
Kenjoe came and stood in front of me.

"This key has been passed down through your family for eons. Legend has it that one day when the right member comes along it could open the door to the past and possibley the future of the beholder. But only once they learn the power of the key."
I was given the key and returned it to my neck. I at least owed it to my family to keep the key safe until I had a daughter of my own and she became of age. I sighed and said "There's more your not telling me. What is it?"
"There's this tribe called the Kunmi tribe. Their leader has been searching for the key and it's rightful member for longer then eons. Once they find her..."
I didn't want to hear the rest. I put my hand up and said nothing.

"I understand you need time to process this. I'll show you to your room."
I followed him and said "Thank you for taking me into your home."
"Actually...thank you."
"For what?"
"Thank you for taking me in."
He walked away and I shut the door. My room was huge. I looked at the engraving on the wall and it read 'Master bedroom'.

"I'm in the master bedroom?"
I sat on the kingsize bed and checked out the key. It contained powers? Unlikely. I sighed and said nothing. I dozed off to sleep and said nothing.

The key.

All I thought about all night was the key. The power seemed to be taunting me. I couldn't help myself. I sat up turned the light on and turned the key around in my hands. The entire concept was strange. I thought about my father and how he would be able to help me through this. I wondered how he had died and what had happened before that. I stood up and went to the bathroom. When I came out the key got warm and I heard "Lunetta?"
I looked up and said "D-Dad?"
"What are you doing here?"
I blinked and held onto the key. We were in his office biulding. I was sitting on my fathers desk. I was so glade I used the bathroom.
