Enticing Destiny

Before we start this chapter, I would like everyone to know that there is a lot of heavily religious stuff. I believe in my own stuff and I would like to ask you not to rant on about how I got something wrong. So please and thank you.

Pushing myself out of a dream I rolled over onto my side stretching my arms, instead of my arms hitting the ground they rested on top of a cold body. I opened one eye to look at whatever I was resting on.

I backed up to the farthest corner away from him, Colin. He looked normal but I still couldn't be to sure, especially after what happened. My eyes flashed to the gate of the cell, it was open. The keys to this collar were in his back pocket, I could escape finally.

I crawled over to him quietly, reaching for the key but I stopped. Just looking at him made me feel overpowered, even when he was asleep. He rolled over onto his back, his hand slapped my thigh which bounced off the wall.

I prayed that didn't wake him and it didn't, so I took his hand in both of mine placing it on his chest. Crawling back into the corner and laying down.

" I'm surprised, you didn't break free. "

I turned over onto my side to watch him, he was sitting up slouching. His spine was barely visible but able to see. His head cocked to one side.

I said nothing still scared of what I saw. I was scared of him.

He grinned to himself, which did creep me out a little.

" do you want to ask me something? " he noticed I was acting weird

" a-are the rumors really true? "

A full smile broke out on his face, all his teeth were sharp like before. I backed into the corner, don't back a wild animal into a corner.

" well... " he spoke

" if your not a vampire- " he cut me off

" actually, I am a vampire just a half-breed. "

" Then the other half is- "

" demon. " he said casually as his eyes flashed black.

I scooted even more into the corner, he seemed to be content with my fear.

" you should stop being afriad of me, I am feeding off of your fear as well as your blood "

That made me kinda sick, just hearing what he said.

" is your father- " he kept cutting me off

" Satan. Yes but he rarely comes to visit "

Right now I wanted to yell prayers and read the bible, but it would probably make him angry.

" did you really kill your two other brothers? " I scooted closer to him

" No, I actually have no clue what so ever to what had happened to them " he thought back

I started to wonder about his age, I scooted closer. My hand was sort of on his knee.

" then how old are you really? "

He went silent not saying a word, then looked me straight in my eyes. About a few seconds in he said

" Guess "

" 35 " I randomly shot out a number

" lower " he narrowed his eyes at me

" 23 "

" lower " he said boredom filled his voice

" 19 "

" lower " boredom still in his voice
